The Crystal Arena is the go-to place for competitive PVP in Albion Online. It’s a place where new and veteran players can go toe to toe against each other in a team match. This guide will show you the general tips and tricks on how to climb the Crystal Arena.
How To Climb Crystal Arena In Albion Online
Playing PVP in any game can be daunting, to say the least, especially if you’re new to the game or don’t usually play those kinds of game modes. Albion Online is no exception, that’s why you’re here, to learn and prepare yourself for the upcoming climb to the top of Crystal Arena.
The First Things You Need To Know
Pick a role! If you want to pick either a damage dealer or healer, one should stick to it. Remember that when you pick a role you should play that role, since you can be banned if you pick a role and not do your job!
Also, get that item level to 900! You need that level of items just to join the Arena. This might sound high for a new player but the majority of players reach these levels by just playing the game. You can go beyond 900 though, so the higher the better!
This path to the top doesn’t need to be alone. When queuing for the Crystal Arena remember that you can queue up with your friends! The Crystal Arena accepts parties of 2, 3 or 5 players. This can even the odds with a team that can communicate better than playing with random people. Remember to make a party with your friends! Just a Reminder, if you queue up with 5 players, the matchmaking will put you on a match with another party of 5 players!
Bring Your Plan A’s and Plan B’s
When going inside a Crystal Arena remember that you can bring whatever gear you want in your inventory. This is to give players a chance to bring multiple sets to change to when they are hard countered by the team.
Bring A Fast Mount!
Slow mounts are actually forbidden in the Arena, and with good reason. A slow player can really bring down the team. The best mounts are the fast ones because every second counts on the battlefield, that’s why mounts like the Grey Wolf are popular!
General Tips
The scoreboard is your best friend. Not only does it show how the teams are doing, but it also shows the enemy’s equipment. A great way to see if you can counter them, or if you’re being countered.
Battles in the Crystal Arena are non-lethal. That means you won’t lose your precious items when you lose there, so don’t worry about bringing your best items!
Keep an eye out on points! Each side starts with 150 points, and the first to get to 0 loses. Killing enemies lowers their points by 6, capturing runestones by 1, having more than 1 runestone by 10 per minute and more than 2 runestones by 20 per minute.
Now with this much knowledge, you can now start your climb through Crystal Arena!
