The day has come that we have a big and massive major event in Ni No Kuni! It is more than fun and interesting and has tons of things to do. Keep an extra eye out for the hidden enemies that will be the spies of the Ancient Genie are absolutely everywhere. Let’s see how you can get the most out of it.

Legendary Ancient Genie Episode | Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds – Full Event Guide

The first major event is finally upon us! When you log in to the game, on the top left corner of your screen you are able to see a new quest. When you enter the game there will be a huge cinematic cutscene that will play and lay out all the things of the story for you.

You can follow this quest and finish it. It will be a nice introduction to everything that you’ll be needing to know about it. You’ll get to see a few early areas and explore a bunch.

After this, you’ll get a short mini-comic that plays for about 2 minutes or so. After this, you should be able to get the reputation stuff. This will actually unlock the first single-player dungeon. Finish this dungeon(it is extremely easy and dull to be honest, once you finish it you won’t need to play it again ever) and a lot of stuff will unlock.

From this point onward you’re looking to unlock and collect the resource for the event. This is the Dust Syndicate Medals. Important to know that there is a limit to this resource. So don’t go around farming for it while you’re at a max cap. It will reset daily/weekly.

You can get these tokens by defeating bosses in dungeons, interrogating NPCs, meeting some new NPCs, etc. These Dust Syndicate members will appear in really random places. Sometimes the least expected places too.

They are hidden in objects in the open world. So you will have to keep an eye out for spotting them. To detect them, simply walk around some objects, and if this object starts talking on its own, smash it with any hit. Then it will transform into the real shape.

Keep in mind though, that they will always be equal to your level. So be ready for a fight

That’s one way of getting these resources. The others may be going outside in the Open World and just farming these event enemies. You’ll get from resources on each kill

Another way is Strange or Mysterious Characters in the open world. You will spot them at random sites and simply interact with them. If you interrogate them, you can see if they are an event enemy NPC in disguise.

You can get 50 from interrogations, and 450 from farming mobs in Chaos Field. It might also scale based on the level you’re at.

Once you have enough of these resources you can buy the Entry Ticket to the Ancient Genie Dungeon. You’re able to get 7 of these every single week. A very good week to buy is the Servants Lamp Page. This will unlock the puzzle from the event.

You can get all the nice things from this event if you finish this puzzle. Additionally, you are able to buy chests too with these resources. You will need to get lucky in order to get a good drop.

You can get lots of stuff as you progress with the Ancient Genie Episode. So keep at it, keep looking at your maximum daily limit and just farm away. You will gather a lot of very good items along the way.
