Gathering materials in different games can either be fun or annoying when you don’t know where to find them. You’d be surprised at how many games these days have materials you’ll need to gather to progress as it’s not limited to building games!
In Hades 2 you can get different materials when you do your runs and some can be easy to get. Then some are locked behind certain things you’ll need to unlock first, like Bronze!
In this guide, we’ll show you how you can get Bronze in the game. We’ll go through what you’ll need to unlock as well as where you can find Bronze in your runs. Now let’s start gathering those materials!
How To Get Bronze
When going through Hades 2 you might notice that there are some unlockables like Incantations that need certain resources. Finding all of the different kinds of resources can be a challenge, especially if you don’t know where they spawn! One of the materials you’ll need is Bronze.

Here are the steps you’ll need to take to get Bronze in the game:
- Unlock the Unraveling A Fateful Bond Incantation.
- Unlock the Crescent Pick.
- Go to the Surface.
- Play through the surface until find Bronze.
- Use the Crescent Pick to obtain bronze!

Detailed Walkthrough
Bronze is used to unlock certain Incantations in the game and you’ll need to unlock a specific one to get it. Bronze can only be found in the Surface and at the start of the game you have a curse that will slowly drain your HP when you’re there. We don’t want that so we’ll need an incantation!
The Incantation that we’ll need to unlock is the one called “Unraveling A Fateful Bond” and it needs these materials:
- 2 x Lotus
- 2 x Moss
- 2 x Nightshade
- 2 x Thalamus
You’ll also need to unlock the Crescent Pick before you can farm Bronze!
All you need to do is unlock that Incantation and you can now go to the Surface without worrying about your HP. Go do a run in the surface and look for the Bronze nodes as shown below. They look like a bunch of armor and shields on a pile.
You’ll need to use the Crescent Pick to farm it and each node usually gives you two. So, go through the surface levels and gather some Bronze!
