F1 24: Miami Track Guide & Setup + Hotlap

The Miami track in F1 24, Miami Gardens Circuit, is one of the most deceptively tricky tracks for a hotlap unless you have the right setup. This track features long straights with smooth curves, which makes it seem simple at first glance. However, it also features one tricky chicane near the end alongside some other tricky curves. It manages to be both relaxing and stressful! In this guide, we’ll give you a recommended setup and a breakdown of the track so that you can get better times as you take a hotlap in Miami.

Miami Track Guide | The Setup

Car setup

For the Miami track setup, you will want to maximize your potential for speed on straights as well as ensuring that you can use curbs to help with curves. As such, we recommend the following setup using the Aston Martin AMR24 as your car:

    • Rear Camber – -1.70º
    • Front Toe-Out – 0.15º
    • Rear Toe-In – 0.14º
  • Suspension
    • Front Suspension – 30
    • Rear Suspension – 16
    • Front Anti-Roll Bar – 14
    • Rear Anti-Roll Bar – 11
    • Front Ride Height – 24
    • Rear Ride Height – 62
  • Brakes
    • Brake Pressure – 97%
    • Front Brake Bias – 54%

With the custom setup done, it’s now time to hit the blacktop and drive a hotlap through the F1 24 Miami track!

Miami Gardens Circuit Track Breakdown | Hotlap

As you start the track, you want to go as fast as possible while sticking to the left-hand side of the track. Keep going as fast as you can until you notice the 100-meter sign on the left, as shown above.

The moment you pass the 100-meter sign, brake and slow down to prepare for the upcoming curve to the right. You should slow down to around 3rd gear or even 2nd gear while turning to the right. Try to avoid hitting the curb on the right side.

After the curve, you have a very short straight which leads to a curve to the left. You can speed up and even shift to 4th gear at this point but try to keep your speed in check as you approach the next curve. You can go a bit above the curb as you take the curve to the left, then start turning right to ready up for the next curve.

For the next curve, you can try to stick to the middle of the track if you want to be safe. However, you can shed some time by using the curb on the right to help you as you take the curve. Just watch out for the upcoming wall at the end of the curb!

Next, you have a relatively decent straight up ahead which leads to a pair of smooth curves. These curves aren’t particularly hard, and you can easily take them even at 6th and 7th gear. If your tyres are starting to wear, though, try to avoid the curb and stick to 5th gear.

A Third of the Way Through!

After the last long curve in this section, you will go under a Pirelli banner and enter a long straight section. There’s not much to say about this part of the track, other than just… go as fast as you can! Stick to the left side of the track until you see a second DHL banner.

Once you spot the DHL banner, switch to the right side of the track to prepare for the next upcoming curve. Keep up your speed until you see the overhang with the MSC Cruises ad and the 100-meter sign.

As soon as you go under the MSC Cruises overhang, you want to brake and go all the way down to 2nd gear as you get ready for the upcoming left turn. Hit the corner of the curb with your left front wheel as you take the turn.

Then, you want to swerve towards the upcoming striped curb on the right side of the track for the next curve. Stick to the right side and hug the wall as you take the curve, but start going to the left as soon as you exit it.

For the upcoming left turn, hit the left striped curve as you take the turn.

As you exit it, go to the right side of the track, following another striped curb. While doing so, try to turn towards your left for the upcoming curve. Try to face toward the corner of the curb. Get ready for the chicane up ahead!

The Dangerous Chicane and the Finish Line

Go over the curb on the left and try to keep a straight line as you go over the sausage curb on the right side. It’s pretty sketchy, and it’s going to require a lot of practice, but it will give you a great time if you do it properly.

Avoid speeding at this point and try to stick to 2nd or even 1st gear to keep speed low.

With the chicane behind you, you want to once again stick to the right side of the track to prepare for the next left turn. It’s nothing special but it’s pretty sharp, so stick to 2nd gear until you exit the curve. You’ll now be at a long straight, so go as fast as you can until you see the next 100-meter sign on the right.

Once you spot the 100-meter sign on the right, make sure that you’re hugging the right wall and start braking to take the next turn to the left. You have a few smooth curves left to go, which you can take at a decent speed.

Avoid going above the 5th gear until you reach the finish line and you’re done!
