Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Milio Trick Caverns Puzzles Solution

Feeling confused? Here’s a guide on how to solve the puzzle in the Milio Trick Caverns.

Puzzles are a staple in video games. Puzzles are used to make the action take a backseat and give the player a breather and instead of using instincts to defeat enemies, they use their brain in order to solve the puzzle in front of them. Lots of games have puzzles, even JRPG’s. You can’t have a JRPG without any puzzles to solve. In this guide, there is a puzzle that we will be focusing on in the Milio Trick Caverns that may confuse some players. We’re here to help you solve that puzzle.

Going through the caverns, you’ll come across two gates with convoluted contraptions attached to it that allows the gate to open. When you look at the puzzle, you’ll see that there are two green lights and two orange lights. The goal is to move the two orange lights to the green lights in order to open the door.

The first puzzle is fairly easy and it won’t take much to solve it. The left orange light should move to the left once to land on the green light. The right orange light needs to move right two times to reach the green light. Voila, the gate is now opened and you can proceed.

Journey on and you’ll find the second gate with two green lights on the left. This time, there is one orange light in the middle and one in the right. The goal is to move them to the left to land on the green lights.

Most players would focus on moving the middle orange light to the far-right green light to leave space for the last orange light to land on the top right green light. However, doing this is a bad idea, as the moment you move the second orange light to the top green light, the first orange light will move to the bottom right.

At this point, it’s obvious that you should move both at the same time in order to have both orange lights land on the green lights. To do this, you need to move the middle orange light to the left first, making it land on the top green light.

Now, you move the second orange light to where the first orange light was. With both orange lights next to each other, the first one being at the top green light and the second orange light being in the middle, you now have to move both orange lights to the left, making both orange lights land on the green lights. Doing so will complete the last Milio Trick Caverns puzzle.
