The First Descendant: How to Get High Voltage Module

How do you get this exceedingly rare but also equally powerful mod for Bunny?

There are many ways in order to boost your descendants’ effectiveness in The First Descendant, and the modules you choose for each of them is one of the most significant factors in doing so. There are many different ones that you can get from grinding through the game, and one of the rarer ones is Bunny’s High Voltage module. In this guide, we will be showing you how to get it!

How to Get High Voltage Module

Most Ultimate Bunny (you can’t use it with the normal one) users in the higher levels will tell you that one of the most important parts of their build is the transcendent High Voltage module.

In a nutshell, it will increase the range and damage of both Thrill Bomb and Lightning Emission in exchange for reducing how many enemies these abilities can hit. Again, this is exclusive to Ultimate Bunny, so focus on getting her first before grinding out his module.

Now, when it comes to actually getting High Voltage, I will warn you right now that it is purely a matter of RNG. Be prepared to grind the same boss over and over again until RNGesus decides to bless you with the drop.

Where Do You Grind for It?

Basically, you will have to keep beating up the Pyromaniac boss on hard difficulty. In case you aren’t aware, this boss is resistance to electricity and fire, so maybe lay off on actually using Bunny for this one if you are reliant on abilities.

The main tip for this fight is to get your own fire resistance. As with most bosses, if you’re playing with a team, stay mobile if you have the boss aggro on you. Not dealing damage for a brief period is better than doing a bit of damage and going down.

If you have someone like Viessa and you have a build based around spamming abilities, you can easily melt this boss due to its frost weakness. Otherwise, you’ll just have to keep shooting it with your best weapons (he’s resistant to guns).

When he’s enraged, there will be a weak spot on its back. If you are playing solo, you may want to get to high ground when this happens as you will have to keep waiting for his charged shots to reach the weak spot otherwise.

Once the boss dies, you’ll have a shot at getting the High Voltage module. If you didn’t get one, tough luck, you will just have to keep running it back until you get one from him.

Trying Your Luck at Silion

If you don’t like the idea of grinding that particular void intercept, there is another way you can try and get RNGesus’ blessing. This method will require you to already have some transcendent modules, however.

Basically, go to Silion back at the hub area and select the Combine Modules option. Here, you have the option of combining four transcendent mods to create one that you might not have.

You will still need to grind void intercepts for other transcendent mods to do this method repeatedly, but if you are more comfortable with other bosses, this is definitely a somewhat better alternative.

With all of that said, this is purely RNG, so we highly recommend just grinding it out at the Pyromaniac to kinda guarantee that you get High Voltage whenever the gods decide to favor you in that particular day.

That is pretty much everything you need to know when it comes to getting this highly impactful mod for Ultimate Bunny, as it is basically just involves getting lucky.
