In defense the power forward usually stays near the opposing power forward doing a man-to-man defense. They also need to pressure the ball and make sure to rotate when the opponent gets past a teammate.
Make sure to keep a lock on and if they get past you have faith in your team and focus on locking down any other opponents they can pass to.
When you’re on the wing lock on and make sure that they can’t pass get past or try to get a steal when they do. The key is defending not only from the guy that has the ball but their teammates as well. Keep an eye around the court and assess the situation to see where the best position is to defend.
