Living in a world like Tower of Fantasy’s, survival is not even guaranteed. Ravagers, Hyenas, or monsters can swoop in and take your life before you can do anything. We always follow the story of the hero and their struggles, but what about the struggle of a grieving man? In Flower in the Memory side quest, you encounter a mourning husband that wants to avenge his fallen wife, Vanessa, that died from a Ravager raid. You feel sorry for him, so you assist in avenging the death of his wife. In this guide, we’ll show you how to help him.
Flower in The Memory Guide – Tower of Fantasy
To start the quest, go to the area near Anchorville (refer to the picture for the specific location). You will see an NPC named Zigg, who comes from the Astra Shelter, which is the starting location of the game. He will tell you that he needs to go into a stronghold because he needs to find someone, and he needs your help.
After the dialogue, Zigg will start walking, and you will have to follow him. He will start talking about his past, which includes the death of someone he cares about, which is Vanessa, who died from a Ravager attack. He thinks that someone tipped the Ravagers off, because they were very familiar with the defense of the shelter, so he left the shelter three years ago to find the person responsible.
As Zigg talks, you will be encountering Hyena henchmen along the way. You can leave Zigg alone and deal with these pests, as Zigg will continue to monologue his dark past while you go out and defeat any enemy you see in your way.
Once Zigg reaches the walkway up the stronghold, the objective will change two times. The first will be clearing the front end of the stronghold. The second will be clearing the last of the stronghold. You will have to defeat a total of 10 enemies before you can continue with the side quest.
One of the enemies you should watch out for a mech piloted by the Vermin Brothers. While they aren’t too strong, they still have a strong shield that protects them. Once you take down the shield though, you will be able to knock down their health until they’re done.
Once you clear out all of the enemies in the stronghold, head back to Zigg to say goodbye. He will then tell you that Vanessa is actually still alive. She ran away with Palu during the attack. Zigg will thank you and say goodbye. He’ll tell you that he will continue to find the Ravager that was in charge of attacking the shelter.
