1-99 Mining Complete Guide In OSRS
Leveling skills in Old School Runescape is one of the main enjoyable things players can do in the game. Some people try to do it on their own pace, while others try to find the best way to leveling that certain skill. This article is for the latter since we’re going to show you one of the best ways to level up your mining in Runescape!
Gear and Buffs
There are a lot of items and buffs that can help you in mining, here are some of the most notable ones:
- Celestial Ring: Invisible +4 Mining Level Boost, 10% chance of mining double the amount of ore up to adamant.
- Varrock Armour: 10% chance of mining double the amount of ore. Ore depends on tier.
- Mining Guild: Faster Ore Regen Rates, Invisible +7 Mining
- Mining Gloves: Can be bought in the Mining Guild for Unidentified Minerals. Has a chance of not depleting the rock that you’re mining, depending on the gloves.
- Prospector’s Outfit: Found in the Motherlode Mine, you can trade it for Golden Nuggets. +2.5% Mining XP Boost.
- Mother Lode Mine Shortcut: Need 50 Agility and Completion of the Medium Falador Diary.
- Mother Lode Mine Upper Levels: Requires 72 Mining and 100 Golden Nuggets.
- Crystal Pickaxe: Requires 71 Mining and Song of the Elves. 3% Mining Speed Boost.
- Dragon or Crystal Pickaxe Special Attack: +3 Mining Level Boost.
Leveling
Here are the level ranges and what you can do in those ranges to level up your Mining.
- Level 1 – 15: Power Mining Copper or Tin. Or…
- Level 1 – 37: Questing
- Level 15 – 30: Power Mining Iron.
- Level 30 – 70: Motherlode + Power Mining Iron.
- Level 70 – 99: Volcanic Mine + Motherlode.
