If you are aware of the name “Helios”, then you know what happened the last time Kratos had a run in with someone of the same name (spoiler alert: decapitation). In God of War III, Kratos ripped off the head of the Sun God, Helios, and used it as a lantern/weapon as he continued to destroy Olympus. In God of War Ragnarok, Helios returns, but in the form of a Runic Attack. While not the actual god himself, you can get this appropriately named Runic Attack by following this guide.
God Of War Ragnarok – Helios Flare Location
Go to Vanaheim
The Legendary Chest that contains Helios Flare can be found in Vanaheim. It can be found in the middle of The Northern Wilds, The Abandoned Village, and the Western Barri Woods (refer to the image above).
Open the Legendary Chest
The Legendary Chest is located on a higher level of land when you reach the area. To get to it, you will need to align the hook towards the direction of the Legendary Chest, then do a hookshot to get to the Legendary Chest. Open it, and you will get the Runic Attack for the Blades of Chaos.
