The Polar Katana in Project Slayers is a sword-type weapon that’s part of the Polar series. It costs 150k wen and 10 ores to exchange for the katana at normal price. However, if you’re reading this before Friday, May 26th, 2023, you can get the Polar Katana at a friendlier price which is 75k wen and 10 ores. The price will go back to normal after that.
Read on to learn about the requirements that you need before making your way to where the Katana is hidden. And you’ll also need to stock up on Wen and Ores!
How to Get Polar Katana
Before you make your way to where the katana is, you want to make sure that you have these three katanas in your inventory: the cloud katana, waterfall katana and tornadic katana. And obviously, the 75k wen or 150k wen depending on when you’re reading this, and 10 ores.
Once you do have those things, now head to the Horse guy NPC can teleport you to the Frozen Lake. Jump into the lake behind the waterfall and find a hole underground that’ll lead you to the underwater shrine.
If you’ve never been here, it may be a little hard to find the hole, but this is what it looks like underwater. Just swim and drop down into the area. The shrine will be right in front of you and you’ll see the Polar Katana put on display right there.
Exchanging for the Polar Katana will cost you all three katanas mentioned, the wen and ore. Again, we’re reminding you that past May 26th, the price will go back to normal, which is 150k wen.
The Polar Katana’s effects are +2 block and +3 sword at tier 0. The Ground Slam and Finishing Kick combos with the Polar Katana end with a slam to the ground that sends shockwave.
