In Project Slayers, you have multiple pieces of clothing or armor you can make use of. Each of them have their own unique stat bonuses that can help enhance your fighting capabilities. Some of them look good, most of them you put on to survive in a fight longer.
But like the clans in the actual anime it wouldn’t be a surprise if people didn’t start fighting each other over what piece of clothing is better. It’s the most human way to settle a discourse after all. We’ll put you above all that infighting however and tell you which set is best once and for all.
Polar VS Devour | Which is Better?
Looking at the base stats, Polar is way better in terms of armor. The problem doesn’t show up until you take a look at the weapons however.
Each armor set still benefits the kind of playstyle that you like. If you like what you wear then so be it! We’ll mostly be comparing the stats of the Polar and Devourer sets.
Upgrading Weapons
To upgrade Devourer weapons all you need to do is get kills and collect blood. After that you can evolve them at the Devourer’s Jaw on the map. The Polar run on the other hand takes a lot longer to do since you require essence instead of blood. And if you remember, farming essence is only possible through the Spider Lily Flowers.
Spider Lily Flowers are pretty hard to get, so hard that it gets to a point where you just have to trade for it. The first upgrade will also set you back 50,000 Wen, making Ice and Polar a lot more difficult to evolve. Regardless, as an overall set, Polar is still worth it.
The reason why Polar is more favorable is because of the chance of stunning your opponents with the Polar Katana for a whole two seconds. Altogether, Devourer is easier to level as the grind is much more forgiving.
Polar on the other hand, gives better stat bonuses when put together and evolved. A difficult answer to accept but this is the way to go if you want to be the strongest you can be!
