As an FBI Agent in Alan Wake 2, you are now working on The Cauldron Lake Murder case. When you arrive at the crime scene and investigate every single item gathered, you’ve got yourself some information about the killers. You now know that they are a group of killers, not just one.
To better understand what is going on, information about the killers isn’t going to be enough. Instead, you’ll also want to learn more about the victim and what has happened to them. In this guide, we’ll show you where you can find that specific information to put them all together in your case board.
Learn More About the Victim
Now that you have some information regarding the killers, you’ll also need to ask people nearby or find hints to know more about the victim.
Next to you, you can talk to the other two FBI agents for information. It turns out that they do know the victim, Robert Nightingale, who is an ex-FBI agent who disappeared a long time ago.
After you have talked to the two agents nearby, you will get some clues about the case. In your case board, place down what Casey and Thornton have mentioned about Nightingale on the top row next to the ‘The Victim‘ card.
For the last step, you’ll want to place down the remaining clues that you have found. These are the items that you found on the table with the number 4 sign on top of it.
Once you have put in the tripod and the beer bottles clues on the case board, the objective will be completed.
