How to Get Weaver’s Needle Vessel
To get the Weaver’s Needle vessel in Black Myth Wukong, you’ll need to unlock the Purple Cloud Mountain secret area. You’ll be able to unlock it around Chapter 4, depending on how much you’ve progressed in it.
If you haven’t already unlocked it, we strongly suggest you check out our all secret areas guide.
We’ll still touch upon the process in this guide. But the dedicated guide will have much more detailed directions.
Feel free to use the Table of Contents to skip ahead if you’ve already unlocked this secret area.
Defeat Venom Daoist
Starting off, to get access to the Purple Cloud Mountain, you’ll need to go to the Pool of Shattered Jade shrine. This can be found in the Webbed Hollow area.
From this shrine, go to the right and get past the cocoons. At the end, you’ll be met with the Odd Cocoon. Start hitting this cocoon and eventually the Venom Daoist boss will jump out.
Once you’ve defeated the boss, he will retreat. Now, you need to find him in another area.
Defeat Venom Daoist Again
To find him again, you’ll need to go to the Court of Illumination shrine. You can find it by going to the Temple of Yellow Flowers area in Black Myth Wukong.
From this shrine progress ahead until you come to a fork where you can go left or right. Go to the left and you’ll meet the Venom Daoist boss again.
This time defeating him will allow you to kill him once and for all. During his death cutscene, he will point towards a wall.
Enter Purple Cloud Mountain Secret Area
Go towards the wall after you’ve defeated the boss. You’ll be able to interact with the wall and enter inside. Doing so will transport you automatically to the Purple Cloud Mountain in Black Myth Wukong.
From here, you want to just keep following the path you are on. You’ll even come across a crying lady near a bridge. Ignore her for now and just keep going straight ahead across the bridge.
Eventually, you’ll arrive at the Valley of Blooms shrine.
Reach Petalfall Hamlet Shrine
While facing the Valley of Blooms shrine, turn around and cross the bridge behind you. After that, turn to the left, and keep following the path.
On this path, you want to turn to the right.
After that, you’ll see an archway on the left side. Leave the path you are on and go through the archway.
From here, just keep going straight. You’ll arrive at the Petalfall Hamlet shrine as your next checkpoint.
Reach Cloudnest Peak Shrine
After you’ve gotten to this shrine, continue going straight ahead. Cross the bridge and turn left from here.
Go up the small set of stairs and you’ll see a stone archway up ahead. Go through it and you’ll arrive in an open area.
From here, you just want to progress ahead and you’ll eventually be able to find the Cloudnest Peak shrine. You’ll know you’re close when you start to see spiders, webs and generally disgusting stuff.
Don’t worry, you’re almost about to get the Weaver’s Needle Vessel.
Defeat Duskveil Boss
After you’ve gotten to this shrine, be prepared as there is a boss fight coming up just ahead. There are a long set of stairs on the right that you can climb up.
They will lead you to the Duskveil boss’s arena. He is a tough boss that has two health bars. To get the Weaver’s Needle vessel, you will need to deplete both these health bars and defeat him.
Once you’ve defeated him, you will be able to get the Weaver’s Needle vessel.
This vessel has a unique passive that helps you gain increased Critical Hit chance and damage. The active effect allows you to summon a needle that will track enemies’ movements.
That’s everything you need to know about getting the Weaver’s Needle vessel in Black Myth Wukong. The Purple Cloud Mountain is a big area and may have plenty more secrets for you to find. So, be sure to explore it!
