Play enough Deceive Inc. and you’ll sometimes forget that there are even field upgrades for you to mess around with. With all of the toys at your disposal along with each agent’s passive and active skills, it’s kind of easy to forego the field upgrades you bring along with you.

Sure it might be confusing at first to figure out which upgrade goes well with your loadout, but if you take the time to swap your extra ammo capacity for once you just might have an even better chance to come back home from a mission with a working respiratory system!

Best Field Upgrades Ranked | Deceive Inc.

Think of these field upgrades as if they were perks, like speed cola or juggernaut! You pick five from a set of four decks and find them as soon as you deploy. The upgrades are color-coded, making them easier to spot during a mission.

Here’s what we think are the best upgrades that you should be bringing with you every time you head out.

Best Tier

The first deck would be your go-to option, you have a bit of everything (including the ammo capacity we made fun of earlier) from hacking speed to cover and health regeneration. Best used if you’re unlucky enough to get ensnared by a hack trap but still wish to persist while being exposed.

Don’t forget to socialize with the other NPCs whenever you escape to get some of your health back

Top Tier

Almost the same, but to be honest it’s difficult to make a choice sometimes with perks as good as the External Hard-Drive and Bulletproof Fabric. The former really shines in the early game if you can’t find any keycards as you can still hack more doors or stuff lying around with the extra intel stored.

The Field Agent Kit is in gold if you prefer an aggressive approach when it comes to handling difficult situations.

Stealth Tier

This deck is for those who get involved in a lot of gunfights that can’t be finished. You can also use this deck if you wish to remain hidden while making sure you survive a possible one hit KO if you’re cover is blown.

You’re not always going to find food during a mission, that’s where the social battery comes in handy. That and you don’t have to run the risk of getting caught eating, keep in mind that no NPC will eat out in the field under any circumstance so keep an eye out before doing so!

And those are the field upgrades you can bring with you, along with the sets they work the best with. Now go and try which set of upgrades suits your playstyle better.

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
