Fooling around with your friends is always prevalent in multiplayer games, it’s a good way to pass the time while having fun, especially in games like Deceive Inc. where all of you will eventually engage in a mild amount of tomfoolery once the cat’s out of the bag. That of course all ends when a random comes in.
Not everyone who joins the session is on the same wavelength, and you just want to have fun in peace with people you know. So can you host a server of your own? Let’s see what plans the game has for the future.
Private Lobby – Can You Host A Server? | Deceive Inc.
Whenever you party up in any game, you would always get thrown into a lobby filled with other randoms, that’s good and all since it’s very much a standard at this point for people to be competitive when given internet access.
But what about those days when you just want to play a grueling one-on-one death match with your bros without somebody else getting in the way?
A few members of the Deceive Inc. community have also raised questions regarding the possibility of hosting private lobbies, because nothing beats chilling in Discord with your friends or having an actual LAN party where you struggle with the noise complaints you’re getting from having too much fun.
Well, one of the developers has answered the question on Steam and said, “Private lobbies are something on the want-to-do list but doesn’t currently have a timetable.”
Note that the word used is “want” and not “need” and doesn’t even have a timetable at the moment, which means that they’re not in a rush to add the feature anytime soon.
Gamers will have to wait for a while if this feature will ever come to fruition, unless more start looking for it and convince the devs that this is in fact something the community wants.
So for now, you’re stuck with randoms, either that or you time your sessions to make sure some of your friends can join in on the same match!
