Tons of players are wondering about how to get these Machines Events finished easily and swiftly. They can be hard to find as well. Well here’s a little guide on how to farm them and find them. Let’s get started.

How To Farm Machine Events – Deep Rock Galactic

Very important to know is that Machine Events will spawn before the mission actually renders in. They will be the first object rendered. They spawn in wide-open areas with a lot of materials around them, so it’s easy to spot them in caves.

Usually, the events are gonna be very clear and open, but sometimes there are missions where they are covered in snow, or stuck in a wall partially. This is rare though.

Machine Events are also not determined or affected by what difficulty you are playing on. Don’t think if you’re playing with higher difficulty you will get better loot. So if you are planning to farm these events, I would recommend sticking to a lower difficulty.

Mission length is also affecting the chance of spawning rate of this event:

  • Length 1 – 15%
  • Length 2 – 25%
  • Length 3 – 35%

The mission type recommended for farming is Point Extraction.

These are generally the most wide-open areas. The Tritility Deposit is the easiest out of them all because you will just need to take the explosives to it. Very good with Driller. The most difficult is the Omen Tower as it can kill you very easily.

If you’re playing solo, stick to a Scout class. It is the most effective for finishing these events more quickly. Go into a Point Extract mission, grapple hook around as much as possible, and look for any events. If there isn’t any, just abort the mission. This way you can go through the maps much more quickly. Special Powder helps too. It should take you a maximum of 2 minutes to search through a map.

If you find some good items and you loot them, they will get tied to your account. So don’t fear aborting the mission. Weapon Overclocks is something that you should aim for in the Rewards section.

I hope this helped you a bit. Good luck!
