Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor just came out on early access, and as such, bugs should be expected. However, what you may not expect is to run into a game-breaking issue right off the bat. In this quick guide, we’ll show you how to fix the issue preventing you from starting a run due to having all class mods locked!

Unable to Select Class Mod Fix

Normally, when you boot up the game for the first time, you can only select the Scout class. After picking it, you’ll get the sole option of the Classic class mod.

However, there is a somewhat common issue wherein it is locked. If your screen looks like the image below, you’re going to need to fiddle with your settings a bit to fix it.

If this happens to you, the fix is to go back to the main menu and open the Settings. From here, you must click on Delete Save Data to reset your progress (this will close the game).

This seems to only happen to very new players, so you likely won’t worry about getting rid of any progress by doing this as you haven’t been able to start a single run yet.

That is pretty much the only confirmed way of fixing this issue aside from manually deleting the save folder yourself. If you’ve managed to solve this issue and own the supporter pack DLC, you may want to check out our guide on how to equip Golden Skins in Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor as well!
