Spectre Divide is a competitive 3v3 tactical shooter game that uses Duality to control two bodies in real-time allowing players to defend two sites at once.
Some players prefer to play this tactical shooter game with their controllers instead of keyboard gaming (which the game gives you by default). So if you are one of them and are wondering if Spectre Divide has Controller Support, keep reading and we’ll tell you.
Controller Support
The short answer to this question is no. Currently, Spectre Divide does not have Controller Support. You can even check this yourself by going to the Steam page of the game.
However, a developer on the popular streamer Shroud’s Steam said that the developers do plan to add controller support to the game eventually. They also mentioned that they would add this after a lot of playtesting.
So, as of now this feature has not been added. In general, controller support is a controversial topic as the addition of aim assist is something that most hardcore FPS players are against.
If you really do want to play the game with a controller, you can try using Steam Input. This has worked for quite a few players. However, you will feel quite a disadvantage using this method since there is no Aim Assist.
Players are required to enjoy the game with their keyboard for now until the near future when the developers plan to drop the Controller Support feature.
