Just like in real life, the grind never stops in games like Dragon Soul. When you get to the later parts of the game, you start taking interest in active transformation that you can take as your own. One of these will be the Great Ape Form, which oddly enough, surpasses all Super Saiyan forms in the game.

How to Get Great Ape Form Guide
To get the Great Ape Form, you need to find and battle the Great Ape in the Ape Wastelands. Use any of the fast travel points available to get to the area you need. You also need the Saiyan Tail from the same Ape you’re about to fight.
The only problem with this is that the Saiyan Tail has a 1% drop rate. This translates to you being stuck in the desert for a needless amount of time, sadly there’s no other way around it. That’s roughly 100 battles you need to do against Great Apes for a chance to get the item in question.
Talk to the guy named Respawn Great Ape to get the fight started. You can find him just by flying north from the fast travel point. Look for the empty land mass on your right and he’ll be there waiting for you. Talk to him and get ready to fight the Great Ape at Lvl 800. Let’s assume that it took you less than a hundred tries and you already got the Saiyan Tail. Your next objective would be to defeat Vegeta 30 times.
He’s right next to the Great Ape Arena, head south a bit to find him chilling next to a hill. You can only fight him if you have the Saiyan Tail with you. The same tail that you had to fight the Great Ape over a hundred times to get. There’s also a twelve hour cooldown that you have to wait for after each fight you have with Vegeta. But beyond any of that, there’s nothing left to do!
