The Bozak Horde Challenge is one of Dying Light 2’s many easter egg challenges that offers an array of cool rewards once completed. There’s only two problems that prevent most players from participating: One, it needs the Bloody Ties DLC and two, you need to find the poster to actually begin.
Finding that poster is easier said than done given how sizeable the DLC map is. But that’s what we’re here for. In this guide, we’ll show you how and where you can go in order to unlock the beginning of the Bozak Horde Challenge.
How to Unlock Bozak Horde Challenge Guide
You’re going to need the Bloody Ties DLC before you can even start the Bozak Horde Challenge. Once that’s out of the way head on over to the eastern side of the Carnage Hall. The poster will be on the back of a statue accompanied by numerous Demolishers.
Getting to the Statue
The statue is in the middle of the yard, specifically on the right side of the Carnage Hall. It’s sealed off by two gates that you can easily vault over. All you have to do is get in the yard and climb the back of the statue while trying to avoid becoming tomato paste.
Think of it as the floor being lava, with the Demolishers doing the melting if they touch you. But if you are feeling like it, you can always take on the zombies before taking the poster.
After getting the poster, you may now check your inventory for the “one time” mode or event.
Hidden Poster for the Bozak Horde Challenge
Now that you got the first poster, it’s time to get the second one. It’s in the lower levels of the Carnage Hall. We’ll start from the north side of the yard where you just got the poster. This is the same side where the exit leading back to Villedor can be found.
Keep running past the parking lot, once you see the archway start heading left. Your landmark will be a giant horse statue that can be quite difficult to miss.
Run past the statue and go left after you go through the broken metal railing. At that point you’ll be right in front of the main building.
Go through the double doors and make a right turn.
Make a left turn next, you’ll have a mannequin holding up a yellow arrow on your left to help you move around.
With the mannequins gone it’s all on you again. Run through the corridor and turn right once you start seeing purple lights.
You should be in the main entrance hall by now where all sorts of debauchery take place. Head up the stairs and through another set of double doors once you get to the top.
Walk all the way until you get to the end and then turn left. Turn right immediately to get to the next room.
There’s only one way out of this room and it leads to another set of double doors.
Go across the hall and into the section of the building where the steel cage is. When you get there, go around and turn left.
Run past the doors again and you’ll end up on the second floor of the adjacent room.
Drop down to the first floor and turn around. You’ll find the poster plastered on to some crates in the back of the room.
Completing the challenge within the time limit will reward you with the Bozak Mask.
NOTE: Keep in mind that once triggered, these challenges are a “one time” event only.
