F1 24 is a racing sim game that lets you take control of an F1 driver that drives in different laps all over the world. These tracks takes place in different location and all of them are vastly different from each other, requiring different tune ups to your F1 car and extensive knowledge on what to do next. That’s why F1 players often recommend to study the track before attempting any kind of drive through the track. In this guide, I will show you the Spain track, including the setup to your vehicle and a hotlap to show you the things you need to take note of when driving through it.
Spain Track Guide & Setup + Hotlap
This guide will be separated into two parts: the setup for your car and the hotlap. This is because you have to setup your car first before attempting a hotlap in the track. The hotlap won’t be effective if you do not have the correct setup ready.
If you just started playing the game and are still confused about what to do. Then I recommend you check this out first: F1 24: Complete Beginner’s Guide. It will help you get up to speed.
Setup
As mentioned before, the track won’t be easy if you don’t have the right setup. Yes, it can be attempted and you can still do a hotlap. But you for sure won’t get the best results and time because your car isn’t correctly tuned to handle the track. As for the setup itself, our primary focus will be having fast aerodynamics and good braking in order to turn around on those tight corners.
Here are the settings needed to get the ideal setup for the Spain track:

Hotlap
Now that we have our setup done nicely, it’s time to look at the track itself and study it for our hotlap. Like with most F1 tracks, the turns are going to be your biggest enemy. Going too fast might cause you to crash into a wall and going too slow will give the drivers behind you enough time to go past you and take the lead from you.
That’s why it’s important to setup your car to go through these turns. That, and you should know when to slow down when turning a corner. This corner, for example, will have you turn multiple times. If you have the setting on to see the path on the ground, you will be able to see the moment you need to slow down (red means you are going too fast, green means you are at the right speed to turn).
During this track, you will have moments where you can speed up and try to get past other drivers. Use this wisely as the track has a lot of turns that will not give you the opportunity to increase your speed. Of course, you can hope that the other drivers will go too fast and crash into the wall or go too slow that you can overtake them, but it’s better to get as much speed at these straight roads.
At the third section of the track, you will have to do a couple of turns before you are back at the starting area where you can just floor it. Remember to take advantage of this so you can get as much speed as possible. Also bear in mind that you can still get overtaken by other players if you are not careful. It’s best to try and get in front of them as much as you can so you can block any openings for them.
That’s all you need to know on how to go through the Spain track hotlap with the right setup. Did this guide help you understand what you need to do in order to get the best time in this track? Let us know in the comments below.
