Before we start, keep it in mind that generation upgrades are only additional effects or stats increases on your current Generation type. This means that you will not upgrade from Gen 1 to Gen 2, or Gen 2 to Gen 3. Instead, you’ll get new unique skills you can use based on what generation type you started off with.
First, you’ll want to go to the Wrath NPC so that he can teleport you to an area of your choice. In this case, you’ll want to spend a small amount of currencies to teleport to the City.
After that, you’ll want to go to the left side of the bus stop of the Wrath NPC. You’ll want to run straight to the back of the city by taking this path. After that, turn right at the first turn that you see as you run.
After you have turned right, you’ll want to run straight forward and turn left at around the 9th turning that you can see. Then, take that turn to your left and head straight until you see the building in the image down below. This place is Eugene’s lab, which you can head inside to begin your quest.
Inside of the building, you will be able to find Eugene, who is wearing a scientist costume. Then, you’ll want to talk to him to start the experiment and ready to upgrade your generation.
Inside Hajima Lab, which you will then teleport into, head towards the area with lots of rooms. Then, run all the way to the very back of the main hallway and look to your left. Inside that room, you will be able to find Eugene.
Then, you can talk to him to receive your Generation Upgrade quest. Remember to read each and every single task that you need to do very carefully. According to the community, you will want to achieve victory in Faction Events or Turf Wars 20 times.
