In Grand Piece Online, which is a One Piece-inspired Roblox game, there are a wide range of challenges that you can take on, and among them is the brand new Impel Down raid added in the latest update. There is a much more difficult version of this raid called Nightmare, and in this guide, we’ll be going through how you can complete it all on your own.

Credits go to AyoMinty for creating the specific build used in this guide, as well as figuring out all the other helpful tricks that may be nerfed in the future.

How to Easily Solo Nightmare Impel Down (No Tori, Suke, Geppo)

In Impel Down’s Nightmare mode, there is a chance for enemies to be replaced by a wide range of special bosses depending on which floor you’re in.

Because of this special feature of this difficulty level, finishing it solo can be incredibly challenging, even more so than if you attempted a regular run. With that being said, here are a few tips that should help you solo it.

Also, if you need a guide on how to get through the regular Impel Down raid, as well as just get the gist of how each room flows (the puzzles, etc), check out our GPO: Complete Impel Down Guide | Update 9.

GPO Impel Down start

Staring The Raid

At the beginning of the raid, as with the other difficulty levels, you will lose all of your items and will have to loot through the first room in order to gear up.

For this method, you must find a Horo fruit, as well as stock up on as many potions as you can find. Basically, the only set requirement for going through it solo is Horo, so without it, you should probably restart the run until you get it in the first room.

Also, try and get a good weapon for the later floors. Something like a Kikoku or Knight’s Gauntlets should suffice.

For your stats with the Horo fruit on hand, you will want to pump up the following attributes to these values:

  • Defense: 725
  • Stamina: 125
  • Devil Fruit: 850

Floor 2 – Wild Hell

After finishing up on the first floor, you will enter Wild Hell. From this point onwards, certain special bosses can spawn in place of regular NPCs, and this is completely random.

Upon entering the first room, use the Horo fruit’s Soul Unbound ability to check whether a boss will spawn in the next area.

If you get Elo The Bunny in this room, run back up the stairs and spam your Mini Hollow Barrage until it dies. This ability will hit the boss through the wall due to their massive hitbox.

On the other hand, if either the Cupid Queen or Love Empress spawn, you will have to unlock your mouse cursor and zoom all the way out to aim your barrage at the boss through the wall.

The Love Empress teleports to you every now and then, so in the first room, you will likely have to run back and forth between both sides of the wall to take her down.

In other rooms, you just have to kite her constantly while spamming barrages.

GPO Love Empress

After taking down whichever boss spawns for you, activate the lever by using Soul Unbound in the main room with the gate and simply phasing through the floor.

Once the Sphinx spawns, quickly shoot it with a barrage and run behind the wall of the previous room. If you lured it in correctly, its head will stick through the wall and will easily go down to your barrages.

For the final boss of the floor, all you have to do is spam barrages while constantly kiting the boss around the room until it dies.

Floor 3 – Starvation Hell

In this floor, there is a chance you will face the Cupid Queen. The only noteworthy thing about this boss is that it transforms at half HP.

Also, there are some moves that will 100% hit you no matter what, so have some health potions ready as you’ll need to chug a few of them as you kite the boss around.

If you get Elo The Bunny here, simply run into the first room and it’ll be stuck on the entrance. If it does go in, however, just run back outside and quickly dash to the left or right.

The boss will almost always jump up the wall, and you can shoot it from outside due to its large hitbox.

For Jailer Han, he’ll spawn a bunch of scorpions at half health. When this happens, you have to lure them out of the room until they all clump together. Once they’re grouped up, blow them all up with your abilities.

Make sure not to get ganked by the scorpions, as they can stun you and prematurely end the run. After getting rid of them, simply kite the boss until they die.

GPO Jailer Han

For the Head Jailer boss, you can simply run around and kite it as you’ve been doing with most of the other bosses so far.

Another method you can try for this boss is to simply climb up the wall before the fight starts.

While you’re in this elevated position, just spam barrages at the boss while staying away from the pillars, as the boss will climb up if you’re under a pillar.

Floor 4 – Freezing Hell

In this floor, you have to swap to a melee build because Kramprus can block your barrages. Reset your stats and set them to the following values:

  • Strength: 1000
  • Stamina: 100
  • Defense: 600
  • Fighting Style: 25

The special bosses in this floor are all fairly easy to beat down with a melee build, as long as you’re blocking properly and not taking unnecessary damage.

GPO Santa

Before taking on the final boss of the floor, you can switch back to your Horo build and kite it around like you have been doing to previous bosses.

If you choose to stick with the melee build, try to find Knight’s Gauntlets and a Yomi fruit from the chests all around the area for the Death Defied ability.

With a melee build, dash behind the boss after it does two basic attacks and spam your M1 hits. For every five M1s you land, you can also use an ability. Block when it does the spinning move. Rinse and repeat until the boss goes down.

Floor 5 – Blazing Hell

Similar to the previous floor, the special bosses in Blazing Hell, Ba’al and Demon Jester, are fairly easy to beat with a melee build. Ideally, however, you should just be kiting them with the Horo build.

For the Demon Jester specifically, whenever it uses the sort of mine field ability, quickly run to the opposite direction and keep your distance from the previous area. This will ensure your survival, as staying within the mine field will almost certainly guarantee that you die.

GPO Demon Jester

For Vera, the final boss of the raid, you will need to have Geppo. With the Horo build, kite her just like you’ve been doing with the other bosses.

In the first phase, she will occasionally fire Venom Hydra. This is blockable, which makes this part of the fight fairly easy.

GPO Vera blocking venom hydra

During the second phase, however, quickly rush up the stairs. Then, try to kite her out of the arena using your Geppo. Once she’s down there, keep spamming barrage and your other abilities to constantly deal damage to her.

You have to keep dealing damage, as she will teleport back to the arena if she doesn’t take any damage within a certain period of time. Simply keep repeating this process until she goes down, chugging potions as you get hit.

GPO Vera phase 2

With a melee build, all you have to do is constantly attack the boss until it dies. Along the way, just watch out for all of the abilities that you can block, and make sure to top yourself up with potions whenever you fall to around half HP.

Also, keep in mind that potions stack, so if you’re especially low, you can chug two potions to heal much faster than you would normally.

GPO Vera melee

And that’s pretty much all you need to know when it comes to soloing Impel Down on Nightmare mode. A lot of the strategy with this method just involves keeping your distance as much as possible and spamming Horo barrages, but it can still be pretty challenging if you aren’t used to this specific build!
