In Guilty Gear Strive you will get versatility and very different characters. In this guide, we will be talking about Bridget and how important her combos are. We will be showing you her best combos and how to do them as well as a gameplay strategy for her. Let’s get started.

Bridget Guide – Guilty Gear Strive

Bridget is probably the most wellbalanced character out of all the characters in the game. She has an access to a projectile that is very useful in almost every fighting situation, lunge attack, invulnerable attack, and many more.

She is a very simple character to begin playing as but as you continue playing you will notice that she has a very big depth about her attacks. You will have a whole plethora of arsenal of yo-yo tricks to get your enemies absolutely wrecked.

Combo Attacks

Stop and Dash – Air OK UP + S or HS = this is one of the most useful things that you can do as Bridget. You will send out an attack that will travel around your enemy to your liking. Then not just be a danger to them in front, but also the projectile will come back to you so it means you can hit them from the back too!

You can find the right diagonal angel to choose where the Yo-Yo will go and it will result in different attacks or completely different combat situations.

Rolling Movement – Air Ok UP + K – Bridget now will move to the Yo-Yo that you have previously thrown at your enemy. You can use this in a lot of various situations. The opponent will have no idea what’s coming to them. They might think that they will get struck from their behind, but then Bridget will smash them in their face!

Starship – Down Left to Right Movement + P – Bridget becomes invulnerable during this attack making it a very useful one. She will leap up and make a big damage strike on anyone that might be coming to strike her from above her. This is a very good strike against aerial-focused opponents. Also, make use of her protection while this attack lasts to dodge the enemy’s deadliest attacks.

Kick Start My Heart – Up Movement Right + K – Bridget will get into a very fast-moving track that will shock any opponents. The animation is so fast making it almost indefensible if someone isn’t ready for it. Plus on top of all that, it does pretty significant damage. You can combine it with those attacks mentioned above.

You can use Brake while performing Kick Start My Heart. She will stop at the end but damage her opponent and throw them back to the ground. Very cool combo indeed!

Rock The Baby – Air OK Left Up + P – this is an extremely damaging grab attack move. You will leap forward and if the enemy is unprotected you will grab them and smash them from the ground. This is a very cool defensive move to use while your enemy might be preparing to go for a big combo. During this, they might be unprotected. Also if you are cornered, you can do this to free yourself too.

Loop The Loop – Left Up Move to Right +S (it costs 50% Tension) – You will get a mini animation where Bridget will spin around and go for their opponent. If the attack lands, you will perform a series of strikes that will desecrate your enemy. This will deal lots of damage but at the cost of the 50% Tension. The best usage of this skill is in or after a combo. Usually when the opponent might be stunned or falling down to the ground.

With Bridget you always want to be on the push. Even when the Match starts you will want to come out fast. Just be fully aggressive and don’t give your enemy time to breathe. Combo after Combo and finish it up with the big Combos like Loop the Loop. She is the biggest Meta in Guilty Gear Strive right now! Now go on ahead and try her yourself!
