Hades 2: All Greeneries Location & How To Get Them

In Hades 2, there are all sorts of items that you’ll need to keep track of. Many of these items are necessary for a variety of upgrades to your Nocturnal Arms aspects. Additionally, you’ll also need them as ingredients for performing incantations. One category of these items that you’ll be using are Greeneries. These are plants that you can either grow or collect in Hades 2. So, in this guide, we’ll show you exactly how to get them. This includes their locations in the game. With that said, let’s get into it!

All Greeneries Location

In this All Greeneries Guide, we’ll be referring to a lot of regions in Hades 2 since they are the locations you’ll be heading to. So, you’ll need to be familiar with all the regions so you’ll be able to get to them.

However, if you’re having trouble with this part, we recommend you continuously refer to the All Regions Guide for Hades 2.

There are a total of 15 Greeneries, or plants in Hades 2. They are divided into 3 categories and we’ll be looking at each of them in this guide. Feel free to use the Table of Contents below if you’re interested in a specific plant you need for a recipe.

Seeds and Crops

This category of Greeneries is used for many incantations in Hades 2. Occasionally, you’ll also be using them for unlocking weapons. They consist of plants that you’ll be growing at the Crossroads. 

However, before you can do that, you’ll need to actually dig up the seeds for the plants. You can dig up seeds by using your Silver Spade on golden shimmering mounds. Here is the process that you’ll be following for each seed and crop pair:

• Obtain the Silver Spade gathering tool
• Use the Silver Spade at Digging Spots (shimmering golden mounds) at the specific seed and crop pair location
• Plant the seeds at the Crossroads
• Wait for them to grow by waiting for the correct amount of Whiles or Encounters.

Nightshade

Nightshade can be used in incantations for obscurity and death. Here is how you can them:

• Dig up Nightshade Seeds using the Silver Spade at Digging Spots in the Erebus Region location.
• Plant the seeds at the Crossroads
• Nightshade Seeds grow into Nightshade crops after 5 Whiles or Encounters.

Cattail

Cattails can be used in incantations for restoration and relief. Here is how you can them:

• Dig up Cattail Seeds using the Silver Spade at Digging Spots in the Oceanus Region location.
• Plant the seeds at the Crossroads
• Cattail Seeds grow into Cattail crops after 9 Whiles or Encounters.

Wheat

Wheat can be used in incantations for growth and respite. Here is how you can them:

• Dig up Wheat Seeds using the Silver Spade at Digging Spots in the Mourning Fields Region location.
• Plant the seeds at the Crossroads
• Wheat Seeds grow into Wheat crops after 13 Whiles or Encounters.

Poppy

Poppy can be used in incantations for dreams and slumber. Here is how you can them:

• Dig up Poppy Seeds using the Silver Spade at Digging Spots in the Tartarus Region location.
• Plant the seeds at the Crossroads
• Poppy Seeds grow into Poppy crops after 21 Whiles or Encounters.

Garlic

Garlic can be used in incantations for resilience and fortitude. Here is how you can them:

• Dig up Garlic Seeds using the Silver Spade at Digging Spots in the Ephyra Region location.
• Plant the seeds at the Crossroads
• Garlic Seeds grow into Garlic crops after 8 Whiles or Encounters.

Mandrake

Mandrake can be used in incantations for power and protection. Here is how you can them:

• Dig up Mandrake Seeds using the Silver Spade at Digging Spots in the Rift of Thessaly Region location.
• Plant the seeds at the Crossroads
• Mandrake Seeds grow into Mandrake crops after 17 Whiles or Encounters.

Thalamus

Thalamus can be used in incantations for birthright and creation. Here is how you can them:

• Dig up Thalamus Seeds using the Silver Spade at Digging Spots in the Chaos Region location.
• Plant the seeds at the Crossroads
• Thalamus Seeds grow into Thalamus crops after 7 Whiles or Encounters.

Regional Flora

Regional Flora are Greeneries in Hades 2 that are used for many incantations as well. Additionally, you’ll also be using them for unlocking Weapon Aspects.

Not all the Weapon Aspects in the game are equally powerful. Check our Best Weapon Aspect Tier List if you want to see how they stack up against each other. Regional Flora can be picked up directly by hand in the various regions of Hades 2.

Moly

Moly is used for incantations for dispelling and nullification. Here is how you can get it:

• Gather by hand at the Erebus Region location.

Lotus

Lotus is used for incantations for serenity and acuity. Here is how you can get it:

• Gather by hand at the Oceanus Region location.

Myrtle

Myrtle is used for incantations for love and prosperity. Here is how you can get it:

• Gather by hand at the Mourning Fields Region location.

Shaderot

Shaderot is used for incantations for eternity and quietude. Here is how you can get it:

• Gather by hand at the Tartarus Region location.

Moss

Moss is used for incantations for strengthened connections. Here is how you can get it:

• Gather by hand at the Ephyra Region location.

Driftwood

Driftwood is used for incantations for stability and buoyancy. Here is how you can get it:

• Gather by hand at the Rift of Thessaly Region location.

The Other Greeneries category consists of additional flora that you can obtain in Hades 2. All of this flora has some value to it which we’ll look at.

Deathcap

Deathcaps are plants that you can sell to The Wretched Broker NPC for x15 Bones. Here’s how you can get it:

• Can be gathered by hand at the Erebus or Ephyra Region locations during rainfall.

Mystery Seed

Mystery Seeds can be grown into any random crop. This random crop consists of the greeneries that we discussed in the Seeds and Crops category above in this guide. Here’s how you can them:

• Obtain Mystery Seeds by using the Silver Spade at rare Digging Spots in various locations
• Also, it can be obtained through the Plentiful Forge, Boon of Demeter.
