A dream come true for the aspiring interior designer! If you thought flipping houses for a profit was fun then wait till you get your hands on your very own hotel. With so many design options to choose from you’ll practically take forever to even finish your first room.

This is a nonissue when you’re just starting out as you’re still getting to know the controls of the game, but if you’re hurting to get to a new day without having much to do then it can get pretty boring.

Lucky for you, Hotel Renovator is a few steps ahead and lets you speed up the time for just such an occasion!

How To Change Time Speed – Hotel Renovator

After you renovate your first few rooms and have strangely welcomed your eccentric guests you’ll want to get a new batch of people in without having to wait for too long.

Once you get the feeling that it’s a slow day then tap away at your ‘+’ and ‘- to switch from normal speed, to X2, and to X3.

Don’t make the mistake of leaving it on maximum speed though, you wouldn’t want any of that while you’re in the middle of renovating!

The game supports controller input as well, so if you don’t want to hunch over your computer while in the middle of remodeling just press up or down on the controller of your choice to do the exact same thing.

Sadly, the game doesn’t let you slow down time as an alternative option. This would’ve been a good feature to have so you can do a thorough search of the hotel in search of antique items to sell.

The best you can do if you really have to go about your business elsewhere is to just simply to pause the game entirely. That gives you more time to strategize so maybe it can be a good thing!

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
