BedWars is a Roblox game wherein players have to work in together in order to take down other teams by destroying their beds and stopping them from respawning. With the latest update, the game released the Crypt’s Coven event just in time for Halloween. So, how exactly do you get through it?
How to Beat Crypts Coven
Upon traveling to the Graveyard, you will be tasked with searching for multiple candles and satisfying the Skull Altar.
At the start, you will see a sequence of colors around the Skull Altar. It is recommended for you to take a screenshot of this, as you will need to memorize this sequence.
After that, you and your group must find all the candles scattered all around the map. These spawn in different locations in each game, but they’re not too hard to find.
Once you have gotten all eight candles, go back to the altar and change their colors to match the sequence from earlier.
Once you have placed the correct sequence, you will find yourself in a cave with disappearing platforms over a bottomless pit. These islands don’t actually go away, they merely turn invisible for a few seconds.
In order to safely jump your way across, it is recommended that you wait for them to turn visible first before making a move. After making your way across, you will find two bridges with locked gates.
To get through this, the group will need to split up according to how many ghosts are hovering in the small crack on each bridge.
For example, if there are two ghosts in there, then two people have to be on that bridge to open the locked gate. Past that, there will be more platforms to jump over. Just avoid the solid stones, as they can fall down.
Next up will be a corridor with large rolling boulders. Simply make your way across while avoiding the stones then climb the rope at the end.
The Boss Fight
After that, you will reach the Final Trial, where you have to fight a pretty challenging boss with a lot of mechanics to look out for.
First up, as you and your group are hitting him with your bows, the boss may spawn a series of pillars on top of various transparent platforms.
When this happens, pay attention to the icon hovering beside the boss and stand on the platform under the corresponding pillar or else you will take damage.
The boss will also occasionally spawn transparent walls, and you have to avoid taking damage by going through the gaps.
Keep in mind that the previous mechanic will still continue happening throughout the fight, so you will inevitably take damage to the walls if your group is unlucky with the gap placement.
There are also red circles to avoid as the boss will regularly shoot skulls at everybody in the fight. Later on, large platforms will spawn around the arena.
To avoid taking damage, members of the group have to split up and stand on the platforms depending on how many ghosts are floating over them, similar to the bridges from earlier.
For example, if one platform has 4 ghosts on it, then all four members of the group must stand on it. If there are two ghosts on each, then there has to be two people on each platform.
After depleting the Crypt’s HP bar, the Eldric will appear. This phase of the fight will have similar mechanics as the previous one, but with some new additions.
First of all, there will still be several red circles to avoid, and there will be additional transparent walls closing in from different sides of the arena. He also has a targeted beam that will latch onto one player.
To make things even more challenging, there will also be skeletons spawning around the area that you will need to avoid or kill as you attack the boss.
Occasionally, the whole arena will turn red. When this happens, everyone must run to the glowing shielded platform, otherwise they will take a massive amount of damage when time runs out.
Once this phase of the boss is defeated, that should be it, you’ve beaten Crypts Coven! With this knowledge, you can now get out there and beat this challenge yourself!
