Call of Duty is one of those big name triple A games that everyone and their mother knows. It’s the most famous arcade FPS game out there and thousands of players play it all the time. The Call of Duty game always had the right balance of a low skill floor and just enough of a skill ceiling for a wide range of players to enjoy. Despite this there’s some things the game often forgets, and one of them is ease of access to your Activision ID! In this guide we’ll show you how to find your Activision ID in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2!

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2: How To Find Your Activision ID

So you’re in this position, you and your friend have installed Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, and you’re ready to play some multiplayer. You want to be with your friend so you go and try and add him as a friend in the game, then you notice that it’s asking for an Activision ID. You don’t know where to find this ID, well here’s how you find it!

All you need to do is go to the Main Menu and look at the upper right where you can see the Settings button which is the small gear icon. Click on that and select “Account & Network” in the menu.

Then you’ll need to click on the Activision Account button there. There you’ll see your Activision Account Summary, what we’ll want to select is the small plus icon near the “#” sign shown below.

This will copy your account number to your clipboard and you can then send it to your friend!
