If you’re familiar with how all Bethesda games work then pulling out a firearm in Starfield should be a walk in the park. However, doing the opposite may sometimes cause more trouble than it should. One moment you’re trying to figure out how to holster your gun and all of a sudden you’re in the middle of another murderous rampage.

Don’t worry, nothing much has changed when it comes to holstering your weapons in Starfield. If you’re new to Bethesda games entirely then stick around, you’ll figure out how to keep yourself on a leash soon enough!

But you’re here now, and you want to walk around without your guns or hands blocking your view. To rid yourself of this obstruction simply press and holdR” whenever you have a weapon out.

It’s just like magic! If you’re on the Xbox, hold down “X” instead. If you’re not warming up to this specific keybinding you can always make the changes needed by going to your settings. You’ll see the option to Reload or Sheathe your weapon without even having to scroll down.
