How to Download Optifine for Minecraft 1.18
There is a new full release of Optifine version 1.18 available for download but this version is not compatible with Forge yet. You can follow the steps below to Install Optifine for your Minecraft.
- Go to optifine.net/downloads. This will take you to the download page and you will see version 1.18 and version 1.17.
- Click on the plus button below Minecraft 1.18 and it will show you the download button.
- Press download and wait for the download to finish.
- Keep the file and double-click on it to launch the installer.
How to Install Optifine
The Installer for Optifine should automatically launch once you double-click on the file. Otherwise, you may need to download Java for your computer.
- Make sure you have Minecraft version 1.18.
- Install Optifine on your Minecraft folder.
- Open your Minecraft Launcher and there should be a new Optifine for version 1.18.
- Hit Play and it will say that your installation is modded.
When you launch the game, it should say that your game version is modded on the bottom left of the screen.
