Tutorial areas are there to protect the players from the wild west of a world they’ll come out to. Often full loot PVP multiplayer games have protected areas where they can’t attack a player. This serves as a place for a new player to learn in peace, but it is also a place where players might get too attached to. There’s is a whole world out there in Last Oasis and you can’t experience the entire game just by staying in the tutorial area. Here is a guide on what you need to keep in mind after the tutorial, before stepping out into the big wild world of Last Oasis.
How To Progress After The Tutorial In Last Oasis
If you’ve been a longtime gamer in the early 2014’s you’ve probably heard of that one player in World of Warcraft that reached Level 90 without leaving the tutorial area. While it’s possible to enjoy the entire game of Last Oasis that way, you’ll be missing out on a lot of the game.
Before you go out into the wilderness you first need to get yourself a weapon, gather resources and get used to the game controls. Don’t just go straight out of there without learning the game first.
Gather as much resources as you can, get an axe or a stick or whatever weapon you prefer and at one point you’ll learn how to make water. Water is important in this game and it’s always great to have too much water.
Once you’re ready, go out and you’ll probably find some NPC enemies. They look like monkeys and they will attack you on sight. Don’t be afraid, they’re the starter enemies of the game. They’re called the Rupu and they usually protect their villages, so if you find some then you’re near their village and those things have loot in them.
The Rupu is a great way to learn how to fight in the game, and they also have valuable loot that you can always get from their corpses and villages. Don’t feel bad about fighting them, once you leave the starting area nobody will feel bad for killing you. It’s a dog eat dog out there.
