This Lethal Company guide on how to open doors with the terminal will walk you through the steps to open giant electric doors using the terminal. Please note that this method only applies to particular electric doors, not regular locked ones.

How To Open Doors With Terminal

  1. Open the Terminal by typing “other” and press Enter.
  2. Type “View Monitor“. This was “View Monitor” previously.
  3. Observe your teammate’s location on the monitor.
  4. Note the letter and digit next to them (e.g., C5). This is the code assigned to the door.
  5. Type the identified letter/digit into the terminal (e.g., “C5”) and press Enter.

If you entered the correct letter/digit, you’ll receive a message saying, “(BROADCASTED SPECIAL CODE).”

Remember, mines and turrets also have codes. And sometimes a turret and a door can have the same letter and digit. In this scenario, opening the door also will deactivate the turret for nearly 5 seconds. Trust me, these things happen.

Also, upper and lower cases are essential. Be careful about what you type. Moreover, you can use the terminal and your walkie-talkie by holding the LMB.

Let us remind again, this method only applies to particular electric doors, not regular locked ones. You will have to find the key or use the lockpick on them. Lastly, if a code is covered, it might be on another floor.
