We’ll you get you back on the field by providing you a handful of solutions however so don’t worry!

“Puget Lake” & “Puget Altus” Error Explained Possible Fix For Modern Warfare 2

It is better that you try to fix things on your end now as you don’t want this to become a recurring issue. In this guide we’ll go through the solutions available so you’ll know what can be done on your end the next time it happens.

Recently player numbers have increased across all platforms which lead to the overloading of the servers. So what are the “Puget Lake” and “Puget Altus” errors? This is an error that most players are getting from the server-side of things. It’s one of the many error codes provided to keep the developers informed regarding what they’re dealing with.

As this is a server side issue, there’s not much we can do about it at the moment. But there are still a few methods you can try to get through:

  • Try to connect again and again and stay persistent. This brute force method can help your connection request slip through, and then you are in the game.
  • Close the game and restart your router. Then try to connect to the Call of Duty servers again.
  • Console players can check their consoles for updates and run them. Clearing the console cache can also help.
    • To do this, turn off your console completely and unplug it for Sixty Seconds. After plugging it in, the cache should be cleared.
    • PS5 players will need to hold down the power button here after turning it off until you hear a second beep. After releasing it, you will be asked if you want to clear the cache.

So those are the solutions we can offer at the moment to get you back in the game. If they work for you then great! See you in the battlefield soldier! If not, then we will have to wait a little bit further for Infinity Ward to come up with a solution themselves.

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
