What’s unique about MultiVersus compared to other platform fighting games is that each character can select from a number of perks. These perks can range from small bonuses to perks that can change the way you play a character. In this ultimate perk guide we’ll show you which perks are the best in what situation while playing MultiVersus.
Which Perk Should You Use | ULTIMATE Perk Guide For MultiVersus
In MultiVersus when you choose a character you can then select 3 perks and a signature. The latter is something unique to the character you chose. The 3 perks on the other hand are divided into 3 categories, which is Offense, Defense and Support. Each category has at least 10 perks in them with Offense having the highest number of Perks to choose from. This can get confusing and you probably don’t know what to choose when you start playing the game.
Well, there are some general rules in this game to help you find out which are the best all-round perks. Your goal in this game is to deal damage and force a ring out to your enemies. If that’s the case then dealing more damage is always a good idea, that’s why the best offense perk around is Snowball Effect.
True to its name, Snowball Effect is a perk where when you hit the highest damage enemy, you’ll get a 7% increase in damage. This might not sound much but when you fight in 2v2s and you ally takes this perk as well then, that damage increase changes to 15%!
Well, you’re now dealing more damage, but what if you get hit? You can’t deal damage if you’re knocked out of the fight, that’s why we have perks like Kryptonian Skin, which reduces all damage by 4% and it will increase to 6% when you ally chooses this too!
Another great choice for a defense perk is Back To Back since it’s a 6% reduced damage when you’re near an ally. If you ally gets this as well then it goes to a whopping 12% reduced damage just as long as you keep your friends close and your enemies closer!
Now for support there’s The Purest of Motivations, a great perk when you ally is knocked out you get a huge 15% damage. Paired that with the snowball effect from earlier and if your ally picked it and this up then you have 30% increased damage for 15 seconds on the most damaged enemy!
If you don’t want something that your teammate needs to get knocked out first before enjoying it then Last Stand is another great support perk. You get reduced damage at 100 damage which helps you stay longer in the fight and giving your team an edge. If an ally picks it up the buff starts at 90 damage instead.
There are a lot of perks out there but we should always remember that the game is a fighting game, and these perks are great for those who play aggressively as you should in any fighting game. Now go out there and win those matches!
