Nightingale – Diving Ever Farther: Gloom Quest

In Nightingale, you will be playing as the Realmwalker and explore different Realms in the game. As you progress, there is a quest system to guide you through all of the game’s content. Some quests in the game are simple, while some can be difficult with challenges that may want to try multiple times.

The Gloom Quest is a quest that you will do to unlock the Gloom Major Card. This is one of the more challenging quests since you will need to defeat an enemy before you are able to complete the objective. In this guide, we will show you steps on how to complete the Gloom Quest in Nightingale.

Diving Ever Farther: Gloom Quest

To complete the Gloom Quest, you will need to complete the Gloom Site of Power. To gain access to it, you will need to reach a Gear Score of 60.

Once you are able to go to the Gloom Site of Power, you will need to defeat all of the enemies and get to the top. There will be a final boss that you’ll want to defeat. When you have defeated the final boss, you will be able to obtain the Gloom Major Card.

Unlock The Gloom Site of Power

First, you will need to find the Gloom Site of Power in the Abeyance Swamp Realm. Once you complete the site, you will receive the means to open the Gloom Realms.

To get there, open up your map and you will be able to find the exact location.

Before you can enter, you will need to obtain a Gear Score of at least 60. To increase your Gear Score, you will need to craft the best types of Gear that you can create. You will need to craft an Armor Set that is Trapper’s Armor or above.

Once you have got your set of armor, make sure that you also upgrade your gear with Essence. This will help you reach the Gear Score of 60 more easily.

Unlock The Gloom Major Card

Near the Gloom Site of Power, you will be able to interact with the symbol to Release Hope Echo. After interacting, you will be able to start the Gloom Site of Power.

Keep in mind that nearby enemies will start running at you, so prepare yourselves with a weapon (both ranged and melee) and health potions to keep you healthy at all times.

Keep defeating any enemies that you see and follow the path that leads to the very top. There, you will be able to find the final boss, which is the Fabled Automation Knight.

The Boss deals high damage at close range, meaning that you’ll want to maintain a safe distance and attack him with a ranged weapon only.

As you run away from the boss, try to trick it so that it’s stuck in a wall and cannot chase you any longer. This is when you are able to use a ranged weapon to slowly reduce its damage to zero.

Once you’ve defeated the boss, you can head to the very top and interact with the symbol again to Release Hope Echo. This will let you unlock the Gloom Card and complete the quest’s final objective.
