In Nightingale, you play the role of a realmwalker trying to find their way through the Fae realms in order to reach the titular city. One of the things you will need to achieve this goal is the Synchronous Lotus, which will allow you to craft Realm portals that will let you traverse the different dimensions. Here is a quick guide on how to get one!
How to Get Synchronous Lotus
The first step in getting one of these is to find a Fae Tower, which is a place of interest that can spawn in random locations in any given realm. Refer to the image below to see what icon it has on the map:
You will encounter your very first Fae Tower when you enter the Antiquarian realm as a part of the introductory series of quests. You will have to get it for an NPC named Aurelio Acevedo Ortega, who will teach you how to use it for crafting realm portals.
Once you find it, you will have to fight a few waves of enemies known as The Bound. If you are still somewhat unfamiliar with the combat, aim for the head (even with a melee weapon) to deal critical damage.
From the first floor, all you have to do is ascend to the very top of the tower. Along the way, you will run into (presumably) randomized rooms with traps on the floor.

Basically, sidestep or jump over anything that glows red. These traps can range from basic explosives to floor triggers that spray poison on you.
You may also find some Essence Bundles along the way. Grab them for some free essence, the tier of which will depend on what realm you are in.
Once you reach the top, you will see a Realmic Transmuter at the center, and a puzzle core that will cause more of The Bound to spawn all around the area.
Defeat these enemies and you will gain access to a chest containing the Synchronous Lotus somewhere near the transmuter. In addition to that, all points of interest in the current realm will be revealed on your map.
And that wraps up the entire process of getting a Synchronous Lotus. If this is your first one, you will have to return to Aurelio Acevedo Ortega first to complete his trials and receive the realm portal schematic.
