When you first start playing Nightingale, you are going to need to complete some starter quests to understand the game mechanics better. One of these quests is Take Aim and Shoot. This quest will require you to finish different objectives, and one is hitting heart shots in the game. Let’s see how you are going to do that.
How To Hit Heartshots
With a ranged weapon in Nightingale, you can score two crucial hits: a Headshot and a Heart shot. Both inflict serious harm on the opponent.
In order to land a heart shot, you basically need to shoot your opponent in the heart. But, of course, it is not as easy as it sounds.
A heartshot is a much rarer hit than a headshot. You should carefully aim your weapon at the heart of the creature you are facing. The wild creatures you encounter on your travels throughout the Realms, such as wolves, deer, and boars, will be the easiest targets to master your heartshot.
Shooting them in the upper left side of their body, near their front legs, will easily result in a heart shot. It is also because you can get closer to these wild animals if you approach them stealthily.
It might be a good idea to postpone this quest until after you obtain your first gun, as it will make hitting Heartshots much simpler. Your first weapon will most likely be the Lancaster Pistol, which you can obtain from Essence Traders in exchange for Essence Dust.
This is how you are going to hit a heart shot in Nightingale. It is going to be easier than you think once you get used to it. Just memorize where you should shoot, and you will be good.
