A crucial aspect of the game is the choice of your fighting style. It’s important to choose a style that suits your preferences because each style has its strengths and weaknesses. Weapons/Fighting Style Tier List

In the right hands, any weapon or fighting style will be unstoppable. But some of them will dominate a fight easier than the others. Here is our tier list of the styles:

S-Tier

Ryosuken

Ryosuken offers good range with one of the best skillsets in the game and its m2 is the best of any melee style. It’s not very strong early on, but the patience is worth it. Found at Rocky Point, the style’s skills and requirements are:

• Claw Barrage: 30k Beli, 50k Bounty, level 5, 5k Style Exp
• Dragon Breath: 35k Beli, 55k Bounty, level 10, 7.5level Style Exp
• Dragon Fist: 40k Beli, 60k Bounty, level 15, 10k Style Exp
• Sudden Impact: 45k Beli, 60k Bounty, level 20, 15k Style Exp

Axe

Axe offers very high damage with AoE moves. Its heavy hitting will easily make up for the slow attack speed, long cooldowns and high stamina usage. Found at Shokei Island, the style’s skills and requirements are:

• Ravenous Spin: 30k Beli, 50k Bounty, level 5, 5k Style Exp
• Strong Leap: 35k Beli, 55k Bounty, level 10, 7.5k Style Exp
• Hard Time: 40k Beli, 60k Bounty, level 15, 10k Style Exp
• Bull Rush: 45k Beli, 60k Bounty, level 20, 15k Style Exp

A-Tier

Two Sword Style

Two Sword Style offers the best damage scaling in the game, as well as good skills and incredible damage when upgraded. However, its attack speed is a little low, and skills can do lower damage than expected. Found at Keimisho, the style’s skills and requirements are:

• Yasha Garasu: 30k Beli, 50k bounty, lv 5, 5k Style XP
• Tower Uppercut: 35k Beli, 55k bounty, lv 10, 7.5k Style XP
• Dragon Twister: 40k Beli, 60k bounty, lv 15, 10k Style XP
• Onigiri: 45k Beli, 65k bounty, lv 20, 15k style XP

Rokushiki

Rokushiki offers decent base damage and fast speed. However, it’s exclusive to the Marines, and if you leave the Marines your style will receive a big debuff. Found at Sunakai, the style’s skills and requirements are:

• Shigan Barrage: 30k Beli, 50k Bounty, level 5, 5k Style Exp
• Ranyaku: 35k Beli, 55k Bounty, level 10, 7.5k Style Exp
• Kami-E: 40k Beli, 60k Bounty, level 15, 10k Style Exp
• Rokuogan: 45k Beli, 60k Bounty, level 20, 15k Style Exp

B-Tier

Fishman Karate

Fisherman Karate offers great and fun to use skills, with good scaling damage and long range m1 attacks. However, all its abilities can be blocked, and it can be frustrating. The style’s skills and requirements are:

• Whirlpool Tower: 30k Beli, 50k Bounty, level 5, 5k Style Exp
• Heavy Torrent: 35k Beli, 55k Bounty, level 10, 7.5k Style Exp
• Water Shot: 40k Beli, 60k Bounty, level 15, 10k Style Exp
• Collapsing Water: 45k Beli, 60k Bounty, level 20, 15k Style Exp

Spear

Spear offers the best range, skills with combo potential, versatility and the best m2 range in the game. However, it has very slow attack speed and the damage is underwhelming. Found at Sondebiru, the style’s skills and requirements are:

• Grand Spear Throw: 30k Beli, 50k Bounty, level 5, 5k Style Exp
• Descending Crash: 35k Beli, 55k Bounty, level 10, 7.5k Style Exp
• Piercing Strikes: 40k Beli, 60k Bounty, level 15, 10k Style Exp

Boxing

Boxing is a lot of fun to play. It offers the fastest m1 speed, great damage scaling, good skills and is upgradable with claws. However, skill damage can fall low in this style. Found at Futtoryu, the style’s skills and requirements are:

• Grand Spear Throw: 30k Beli, 50k Bounty, level 5, 5k Style Exp
• Descending Crash: 35k Beli, 55k Bounty, level 10, 7.5k Style Exp
• Piercing Strikes: 40k Beli, 60k Bounty, level 15, 10k Style Exp
• Impale: 45k Beli, 60k Bounty, level 20, 15k Style Exp

C-Tier

One Sword

While having one of the best skillsets in the game, the damage output falls just low on One Sword Style. Found on Sun Down Island, the style’s skills and requirements are:

• Lion Barrage: 30k Beli, 50k Bounty, level 5, 5k Style Exp
• Sanjuroku Pound ho: 35k Beli, 55k Bounty, level 10, 7.5k Style Exp
• Yakkodori: 40k Beli, 60k Bounty, level 15, 10k Style Exp
• Lion Flash: 45k Beli, 60k Bounty, level 20, 15k Style Exp

Black Leg

Offering good range, melee damage scaling and a lot of combo potential with its skill, Black Leg excels in 1v1 combat. But the weak skills and boss raid contribution places it low on our list. Found at Kita Lo, the style’s skills and requirements are:

• Party Table: 30k Beli, 50k Bounty, level 5, 5k Style Exp
• Anti Manner: 35k Beli, 55k Bounty, level 10, 7.5k Style Exp
