Palia: Finding the Source of Food | Temple of the Gales

In Palia, there are many quests you can receive from all the characters found around the map. “It Takes A Village” is a quest you can receive from Caleri in Palia.

During this quest, Caleri will ask you to find a source of food and catch four Cloudminnows.

You will now go on a journey around the land and try to find all 4 different spots. In this guide, we’ll show you all the locations.

Finding the Source of Food | Temple of the Gales

Keep in mind that you will need to use a fishing rod and fish in order for the quest progress to count.

Source of Food #1

First, you will need to get to the island. From Elouisa‘s location, head towards the other island to your right.

In the image below, you will see the path that you need to take. There are wind currents you can use to launch yourself upwards and get there safely.

Once you’ve reached the island, head towards the left and find the wind currents next to a small island. You can use this wind current to launch yourself upwards.

Once it has launched you upwards, you will be able to spot the pool from a distance. Reach it and use your fishing rod to catch your first source of food.

Source of Food #2

From the first pool, head in the direction we’ve drawn for you.

Once you’re on top of the mountain, you will be able to spot the next source of food if you look down.

Source of Food #3

After you’ve finished fishing, turn around and take the entrance. Then, turn right.

You will now find yourself at a cliff. Jump down and glide towards the direction in the image below.

Once you’re at the cliff, look down and you will find the third source of food. Jump downwards and use your fishing rod.

Source of Food #4

From Caleri‘s location, head in the direction in the image below. Keep climbing upwards until you can reach the floating pool at the very top.

As long as you follow the path and keep moving forward, you will eventually find it.

As you make your way there, sometimes you will need to jump or glide to go from one island to another.

Pay attention to your stamina bar so that you do not fall while doing this. Once you’ve reached the top, use your fishing rod and find your last 4th fish.

That’s how you can find all four different sources of food in Palia! During this part of the quest, Caleri will also ask you to catch up to 4 Cloudminnows.

As you find the sources of food, remember to pull out your fishing rod, so that you can complete this part of the quest as well.
