In Phantom Forces, there are several types of guns you can use to come out on top. In this guide, I will show you the best pistols in the game – including machine pistols and revolvers. We’ll discuss their stats, features, and everything you need to know to dominate the battlefield.

Top 5 Best Pistols

Before we get into the list, know that this is just based on my personal opinion depending on the weapon’s effectiveness. So, without further ado, let’s jump right into the discussion.

M1911A1

M1911A1

Compared to other pistols, this one stands out in several key ways. It deals 48 damage up to 55 studs away and delivers 55 damage with a shot to the torso. In close quarters, it’s a 2-shot kill as long as one bullet hits the body. It ranges from 55 to 90.

With a rapid fire rate of 720 rounds per minute, excellent handling, and one of the quickest reload speeds in its class, it’s a formidable weapon.

The only thing holding it back from being overpowered is its limited 8-round ammo capacity, using .45 ACP ammo.

While you can chamber an extra round, the 8-bullet limit can make securing multiple kills challenging. In a one-on-one situation, it boasts an impressive 0.08-second time-to-kill. Keep in mind that it becomes available at rank 8.

Gyrojet Mark I

Gyrojet Mark I

This often overlooked pistol is quite unique, firing 13mm rockets that actually become more lethal as they travel. Its bullets deal 35 damage up close but increase to a intimidating 45 damage over 180 studs. However, many players initially struggle with it due to its unusual range capabilities (10 to 175 studs), which can make it challenging to adapt to.

Yet, if mastered, this firearm can be incredibly potent. It boasts a 2.25x torso multiplier and a whopping 3.50x headshot multiplier. This means that regardless of the range, it always delivers one-shot kills to the head and inflicts a hefty 78.75 damage to the torso in close quarters, creating a generous hitbox for those critical shots.

The trickiest aspect of using this pistol lies in its slower fire rate of 350 rounds per minute and a muzzle velocity of 1000 studs, resulting in rapid bullet drop. To excel with it, you must become skilled at aiming higher than you normally would.

Basically, this pistol is versatile, excelling both in close quarters due to its consistent one-shot potential and at range thanks to its rockets. Keep in mind that it becomes available at rank 122.

Automag III

Automag III

This pistol has well-balanced attributes and a very manageable recoil. Its damage starts at 68 damage within 40 studs and lessens to 40 damage at a distance. Its all-around stats include a fast 2,500 muzzle velocity and 1.20 studs of penetration.

The trade-offs are noticeable in the initial recoil kick and fire rate. With a fire rate of 280 rounds per minute, it maintains effectiveness within the range of 40 to 150 studs. The recoil recovery speed requires a bit of patience but allows for sufficient time to regain control.

It delivers 81 damage to the body and consistently secures headshots as a one-shot kill, regardless of the distance spanning from 40 to 150 studs. There’s an available conversion that transforms it into a.50 caliber pistol. This conversion enhances its potential, enabling the Automag to deliver one-shot body kills with a swifter fire rate and manageable recoil. Keep in mind that it becomes available at rank 109.

Grizzly

Grizzly

This stands out as the top-tier pistol chambered in .50 caliber. It boasts a standard 7-round, 77 damage up close, and a 1-hit kill capability within approximately 40 studs. This range is from 35 to 105.

Operating at a fire rate of 350 rounds per minute, its recoil is remarkably consistent and easy to manage, making it an accessible option for those seeking a reliable one-shot secondary weapon.

It’s worth noting that it doesn’t consistently secure one-shot headshot kills. Over 105 studs, it deals only 35 damage, and with the headshot multiplier, it falls short of an instant kill. Therefore, it may not be the best choice for long-range engagements. However, in close quarters, it surely shines.

This pistol excels in terms of mobility, reload speed, faster fire rate, and less recoil. With a fire rate nearly twice as fast and improved initial recoil and recoil recovery, it’s the perfect choice for close-to-midrange combat scenarios. Keep in mind that it becomes available at rank 144.

AF2011-A1

AF2011-A1

Each shot up close deals 42 damage but also has a 1.25x torso multiplier, leading it to deal 52.5 damage per torso shot. The range is 25 to 80.

Seeing it as it shoots two bullets at once in an instant burst with a 999,000 fire rate, it is extremely fast aside from the burst speed, but it’s difficult to control.

The recoil recovery is especially slow, so you either have to time your shots well or aim much lower on your next shots. The number of shots you will get at close quarters is ridiculous. It is unlocked at rank 201.
