Off to another quest are we? Specifically the Accidents Happen mission, in which one of your tasks involves visiting the Hopetech Building in Hopetown. You are not alone tho, as many people seem to have trouble finding this building if they haven’t previously been to Hopetown.
Furthermore, the fact that the Hopetech building is located in a town, on a planet, that is inside a star system that is composed of two stars, does not make it easier.
So where is Hopetech located precisely in Starfield? This is what this article aims to answer down below!
Polvo Planet Location
First up, you must make your way to the Polvo Planet which houses Hopetown. Polvo is located in the Valo star system that is a part of the dual star system mainly labeled as Narion. You will have to hover or select the Narion star system to open a sort of drop-down menu.
The Narion star system is located a bit northeast of the Alpha Centauri or southwest of the Cheyenne Star System.

Now, select the Valo star system and enter it. Valo contains five planets (one of which is Polvo, the planet we are looking for) and six moons.
Once arrived, you will find the Polvo planet that looks something like this:
Hopetech Location
Now that you’ve made your way to Hopetechs’ housing planet, our next steps are fairly simple.
Navigate the Polvo planet until you find a town called Hopetown (it’s hard to miss as it has a very similar name to the place you are actually looking for).
If you can’t seem to find it, remember that it’s right next to the industrial outpost.
After landing on Hopetown, you should be able to see the Hopetech building just behind your ship. It’s this huge complex that has a bright yellow sign that says “Hopetech” at the front, it’s hard to miss!
Accidents Happen
After you’ve located Hopetech, make your way into the building and follow the marker. You’ll need to climb a ladder up the ship, so you can plant the ARC device. Though, be careful since there’s security roaming the area.
I suggest you close this hatch/door so you can go ahead and plant without worrying about any confrontation.
Job is done! After you’re done planting the ARC, make your way back to Imogene Salzo to finish the quest.
