In Starfield, NPCs wear all sorts of clothing, ranging from unique outfits that only certain characters can have to common and practical options that anyone can put on, including yourself. One thing that you may be surprised to learn exist in the game are swimsuits, but where exactly do you get them and how can you make your companions equip them?

How to Equip a Swimsuit on Every Companion Guide
First of all, you’ll need to find swimsuits. To get some, you must travel to the Porrima system.
Select the planet of Porrima II, then land in Paradiso, which is the beautiful beachside resort that you may have heard about from other NPCs.
From the landing site, simply follow the road until you reach the hotel. Don’t worry about getting lost, as the path is pretty short and straightforward.
Don’t bother checking the general store in the lobby as well, since they only sell resort wear.
Once you reach the hotel’s main entrance, run forward a little more and you’ll find yourself at the beach.
From here, simply enter one of the many huts you’ll find. There should be two to your left as you step foot in the sand.
Inside each hut, you’ll immediately find two lockers to the right of the door. These lockers have a chance of spawning either a swimsuit or resort wear, the former of which is what you’re looking for.
It should be noted that taking any of these items counts as theft, so you may want to crouch before you steal them.
In some situations, you may have to wait until nearby resort guests leave, as they sometimes go inside and simply stare at your general direction.
Since these lockers are not guaranteed to spawn swimsuits, you may have to check every beachside hut. There are two more on the opposite side, to the right from where you entered the beach.
Giving it to a Companion
Once you’ve acquired a swimsuit, talk to your companion and ask to trade gear. In the menu that pops up, press the “Q” button to switch to your own inventory.
Click on the Apparel category and scroll down until you find the swimsuit. Simply click on it to trade it over to your companion.
Press “Q” once again to switch back to your companion’s inventory. From here, click on Apparel once more and hover over the swimsuit, then press the “B” button to equip it.
Don’t worry if the preview doesn’t show your companion wearing it, as the menu will continue showing your character for some reason. Once you close the menu, you should see your companion wearing the swimsuit!
And that’s how you find and equip swimsuits for your companions in Starfield. The same process can be used to equip other items on your companions, which can come in handy if you want to upgrade their gear with better guns and spacesuits, or just change their clothes for pictures!
