In the game Starfield, you can get all sorts of cool ships in the game. Of course, you can also just design and customize your own ship. Usually, that’s more efficient than relying on pre-built ships but there’s a charm to them as well. Maybe you like collecting these ships, and if so there’s one ship you can only find through certain events. This ship is the Wanderwell and it can only be given to you by your parents.
In this guide, we’ll show you how you can get the Wanderwell ship in the game. We’ll make sure to not spoil too much of the story, but you do need to do the main quest to get it!
How To Get Wanderwell Ship
When you’re creating your custom character in Starfield, you can get yourself some traits. There are a lot of interesting traits in the game but to get the Wanderwell ship, we’ll need to pick Kid Stuff.
It’s a trait that lets you have your own parents, and you can visit them as well. The downside is that you give 2% of your credits to them every week.
Once you get that trait, you’ll want to progress through the story until you can go to New Atlantis where your parents are. Your parents are situated in the Pioneer Tower in the residential district. Go talk to them and let them know you’ve joined Constellation.
After you’ve told them about the Constellation, you’ll then need to progress the main story of the game.
At one point, they’ll show up at the lodge where your dad will give you a gun, he won it from his card games. After getting the gun, you’ll want to wait a few days in the game and visit your parents again.
At this point, talk to your dad again and he’ll tell you about a ship he won in the card game. That ship is the Wanderwell and he’ll give it to you. What a great dad!
Overall, the Wanderwell isn’t really the greatest ship out there specially at that point in the story. Still, if you want to have a ship like that for your collection then it’s a great addition! Plus, it has some sentimental value!
That’s how you get the Wanderwell ship in Starfield, now go out there and try to get it yourself! Make sure to go check out our guide on how to turn build mode in outposts on or off if you haven’t already!
