After the new update to The First Descendant, there is a new currency that you can use in the form of Exchange and Growth Tokens. You can get these tokens for doing certain events. However, it isn’t immediately clear where you’re supposed to use them.
If you’re in the same boat and are confused about how you’re supposed to use them, we’ve got you covered. In this guide, we’ll show you exactly how to use them and what kind of rewards you can get in exchange. Let’s dive in!
How to Exchange Tokens & Growth Tokens
Starting off, you may be wondering how you’re supposed to get exchange tokens and growth tokens in The First Descendant. Currently, the only way to get them is by doing the Winter Festival event.
It’s possible that in the future we might be able to get these tokens by other means.
So, to get your first set of tokens, start by going into the Game Menu. Here, select the time limited Winter Festival option in the Events tab.
Here, you should see a bundle called a Winter Festival Box. From this bundle, you can get x500 Descendant Growth Tokens and x10 Descendant Exchange Tokens.
After that, make your way to Anais in HQ. Talk to her and you should see two options: Descendant Exchange Shop and Descendant Growth Shop.
Click on the Exchange Shop if you want to use your Exchange Tokens. Over here, you can use your tokens to get:
- Ultimate Bunny’s Research
- HQ’s Gift Box
- Purchase Descendants
- Gold and Kuiper Shards.
After that, select the Growth Shop option. Since you’ll have a lot more growth tokens, you can potentially get a lot more items here. There are several options here with some notable ones being:
- Enhancement Materials
- Transcendent Mods
- Weapon Blueprints
- Boosts
- Advanced Shape Stabilizers.
