The First Descendant: How To Get More Descendant Slots

We need space for more Descendants!

In The First Descendants, players will typically strive to collect as many descendants as possible which is similar to other looter shooter games, as well. This keeps them engaged and motivated throughout the game. The obstacle that players have to face in acquiring more descendants is the limited slots available to accommodate their growing roster. We’ll tell you what you need to do to get more Descendants Slots.

How To Get More Descendant Slots

So far, there are only two methods you can use to acquire additional slots, which are:

  • Purchase Slots
  • In-shop Bundles

Keep reading and we’ll tell you exactly how to get them using the above methods.

Purchasing Slots

The primary method in acquiring more slots is to purchase them using Caliber, which is the game’ premium currency.

Start by opening your main menu and heading over to “Descendants”. At the bottom right of the screen, you should see the “purchase slots” option.

The rate for slots is 50 caliber per slot. This does seem like the more straightforward solution but there are other options as well you might want to consider, as well.

The game also provides new players 10 slots to begin with, including a starter character and the bunny character that you can unlock. This leaves players with 8 slots in total which are available for further expansion. When your beginning 8 slots are nearing the end, that’s when you can start searching for more.

Which is usually the case pretty fast since players are always on the hunt to collect more descendants for their collection.

In-shop bundles

Another good option to obtain slots is through in-shop bundles like the Descendant Ticket Packages or the Ultimate packages.

These bundles will oftentimes include an additional descendant slot as a bonus which provide players a more cost-effective way to get their hands on some more slots and expand their roster.

The monetization of the Descendants slot system allows players both free-to-play progression and optional paid expansions for players willing to spend a little money and invest in the game to get more slots. While many players do not consider this an ideal scenario, others accept it and believe the costs are worth the extra slots.
