Season 2 for The First Descendant dropped fairly recently and there’s a lot of content that players can explore. There are also new builds to try such as with the new Ultimate Sharen that can be unlocked. However, many players have found that unlocking her can take a while.
You may be wondering if there is a way to speed up the grind? Not to worry, we have you covered. In this guide, we’ll show you the fastest way to unlock Ultimate Sharen. Let’s get into it!
How to Unlock Ultimate Sharen Fast
Ultimate Sharen in The First Descendant has quite a lot of requirements. This is because you will need to craft 4 parts for her, each of which require a lot of materials and blueprints.
In total, the four components for Ultimate Sharen are:
- Ultimate Sharen Enhanced Cell
- Ultimate Sharen Stabilizer
- Ultimate Sharen Spiral Catalyst
- Ultimate Sharen Code.
The Heavy Ion Collectors and the blueprints are by far the grindiest things to get for her in the game. But we’ll show you how you can unlock her within only 4 hours!
Obtain Advanced Shape Stabilizers
The first thing you can do to make the grind easier is getting your hands on Advanced Shape Stabilizers. These are fairly simple to get in two possible ways.
For the first one, head into the Game Menu. Over here, you should see some Events listed out on the right. Click on the Winter Festival option here.
Over here, you should see the Winter Festival Box as one of the rewards. For this bundle, what you’re interested in getting is the Descendant Growth Token which is the end reward.
You should be able to get x500 Descendant Growth Tokens.
After that, head to Anais and select the Descendant Growth Shop option. Scroll all the way down and you’ll see a bunch of Advanced Shape Stabilizers you can purchase with the tokens. They’ll cost x5 tokens each.
Grab all of them and you should be able to get 4 each of the 8 different sets of Advanced Stabilizers.
Next, head to ETA-0 and visit his store. Here, you’ll see two different options: Exchange Infiltration Operation Reward and Exchange Supplies.
Go to each of these menus and you’ll find some more Advanced Shape Stabilizers that you can purchase. Grab all of them if you can as they’ll make the grind much easier.
These Advanced Shape Stabilizers are the secret ingredient that makes the Ultimate Sharen guide easier. This is because when you’re trying to get blueprints in Amorphous Materials, these blueprints will have the lowest odds of 10%.
With Advanced Shape Stabilizers though, the odds of the blueprints and the materials with the highest drop chances are exchanged when shaping Amorphous Materials. So, you’ll end up increasing the odds of the blueprints to 32% which is quite significant.
In this way, you should be able to get the Ultimate Sharen blueprints and codes within only a few attempts.
Obtaining Blueprints and Code
When you click on the Ultimate Sharen blueprints and code’s Acquisition Info, you’ll see that there are different ways in which you can get them. Each of these can also be done through Outpost missions.
We strongly suggest that you go for the Outpost missions. This is because they are by far the fastest to do, and will take you around 30 seconds.
The Advanced Shape Stabilizers you obtained will make them even more efficient, so you’ll have an easier time with it. We recommend doing the outpost missions for all the Ultimate Sharen blueprints and codes.
Here is the breakdown of the missions you need to do for each Ultimate Sharen blueprint in the fastest way possible:
- Ultimate Sharen Enhanced Cell
- Dune Base: Vulgus Strategic Outpost (for Amorphous Materials)
- Abyssal Void Fusion Reactor: Hagios Dune Base (using Amorphous Materials)
- Ultimate Sharen Stabilizer
- The Corrupted Zone: Vulgus Strategic Outpost (for Amorphous Materials)
- Abyssal Void Fusion Reactor: Hagios Corrupted Zone (using Amorphous Materials)
- Ultimate Sharen Spiral Catalyst
- Miragestone: Vulgus Strategic Outpost (for Amorphous Materials)
- Abyssal Void Fusion Reactor: Agna Desert Miragestone Deposit (using Amorphous Materials)
- Ultimate Sharen Code
- Shipment Base: Vulgus Strategic Outpost (for Amorphous Materials)
- Abyssal Void Fusion Reactor: White Night Gulch Observatory (using Amorphous Materials)
Obtaining Heavy Ion Collectors
To be able to construct each component of Ultimate Sharen, you’ll need to get Heavy Ion Collectors. Three of the components will require x63 Heavy Ion Collectors each as materials.
These research materials only drop from 2 Infiltration Missions in The First Descendant: Mystery’s End and Bio Lab. You can easily check these by checking the Acquisition Info.
Each run of these missions will give you x7 Heavy Ion Collectors. Since each component requires x63, you’ll need to do these runs 9 times for each component. That means, in total, you’ll need to do them x27 times.
This is the worst part about grinding Ultimate Sharen, and unfortunately, there is no way to avoid it. The only thing you can do is to try and cut down the monotony a bit. We recommend that you first complete one component and then move onto the other.
In this way, you can deal with the repetitiveness. But even then, either way, it shouldn’t take you more than 4 hours to complete all the requirements to unlock Ultimate Sharen!
