Tower of Fantasy has come into some heat lately with a lot of people saying the game is pay to win. A lot of players also complain about the gacha mechanics the game offers and are calling it gambling. In fact, some countries don’t allow this game because of that. That’s because the game has this currency called Gold Nucleus and you can buy them from the store to roll for Gacha. Gacha meaning that you roll on something and get a random item or character from the roll. Whatever your view is on the game, there are ways of getting Astra Gold Nucleus without paying real life money, and in this guide, we’ll show you how.
All Astra Gold Nucleus Locations In Tower of Fantasy
So, what are gold nucleus anyway? It’s a type of currency in the game that you use to get characters or items through the game’s Gacha mechanics. You can also get Black Nucleus which is the same thing but you are not guaranteed to get anything, it is completely random when using the black ones. For the Gold nucleus you’re guaranteed a pity mechanic where you get a SR or SSR on every 10 pulls, and an SSR on the 80th pull or whatever the banner states.
There are currently 24 Gold Nucleus in Astra, the starting area of the game so we’ll go straight to it.

To the Northern Ring Ranges is a large tower with a red hollow ball on top. Inside that is one Gold Nucleus and a Supply Drop that has the second one.
You’ll need a big jump to get this one.
The supply drop isn’t far from the floating Gold nucleus.

Around the Norther Ring Ranges are also these small rocks with a black rock on one of the faces. You’ll need to melt these with the fire bow.
Just aim and shoot and get the prize inside!

To the north of the Northern Ring Range is another one of those rocks.
A gold goodie awaits you inside, just shoot at it!

To the northwest tip of the place is another one of those rocks.
Aim, shoot, repeat!
Behind the one you shot are two tall rock pillars. Go on top of it and in the air nearby should be another golden nucleus.

Off to the small island to the northwest is your next targe.
It’s inside the Type 2 supply pod on top of the island’s structure.

Back to the Northern Ring Ranges is a camp to the southeast.
That camp is guarded by enemies, clear them out and get the supply pod on one of the wooden structures.

Southwest of the Northern Ring Ranges to the mountains is your next item.
Same as the previous one, a small camp of enemies. Clear them out and claim your prize!

Near the Astra Shelter are a couple of gold nucleus. One is to the west where you’ll see this giant purple and blue flower. Nearby is a small blue plant that you can pick up. Throw that thing into the flower and it’ll reward you with a nucleus.
That flower looks hungry, better feed it.

Near the Astra shelter is a large windmill. That’s your next goal so better start climbing!
The next gold nucleus is floating above the windmill so watch your step!

Southwest of the Astra Shelter is another hungry plant with what we want inside of it.
The blue ball is nearby so just chuck it inside and feed the plant, simple as that!

To the east of the previous one is one of those rocks again.
Same deal, shoot and get the freebie inside!

In the middle of the Astra Shelter at its highest point is your next goal.
It’s inside one supply pod on top of the spire of the shelter. It has a nice view too!

Better get ready to get wet because the next one is on the river east of the shelter.
It’s floating nicely on top of the river for you to get!

Next one is near the Astra Omnium Tower to the northwest of the tower is your goal.
This one is a big camp of enemies so you have to fight all of them to unlock the supply pod!

Southwest of the Astra Omnium Tower is another hungry plant.
Please help this plant, he dropped his snack and doesn’t have any hands. He’ll reward you with a gold nucleus!

To the south of the plant is your next goal, this one stands out from the rest.
You’ll see these tree stump looking plants that if you step on them, it makes a sound, you’ll need to step on the right sequence to get them your prize!

South of the Astra Omnium is your next target. Although it might as well be as tall as the tower itself.
The nucleus here is levitating at a high place near the river, use the environment to your advantage on this one.

To the Northeast of the Astra Omnium Tower near the beaches is the next one.
Who put this supply pod here?

Near the Souther Ring Ranges is another one to go for.
This one has 3 mushrooms in the area that you need to step on to get the gold nucleus!

East of the Southern Ring Ranges is your next gold nucleus!
Again, it’s a camp of enemies that you need to clear to unlock the pod.

This one is much more simple than the previous one. To the south is your next target.
On the beaches is another one of those rocks, aim and shoot!

The last one in Astra is on the Mega Arena Island.
Another hungry plant with the blue ball just next to him. Easy peasy!
