With a heavy heart, we say goodbye to one of the most influential Japanese manga artists of all time, Akira Toriyama. One of his most popular creations is the beloved manga Dragon Ball, which influenced an entire generation of anime lovers and pop culture. To honor his memory, Z Battlegrounds put up a statue in their latest update to immortalize him in the game.
This falls in line with the release of a new SSJB Goku move, Dragon Fist; therefore, this guide will talk about the Akira Toriyama Statue and give a quick guide on the Dragon Fist move.
Dragon Fist & Akira Toriyama
This new update of Z Battlegrounds is bittersweet. The introduction of a new move is overshadowed by the death of the man whose creation inspired the game, Akira Toriyama.
Akira Toriyama Statue
The statue dedicated to Akira Toriyama is right in front of the training ground. It’s in the likeness of Akira wearing the iconic Dragon Ball keikogi.
Pass by the statue in his memory if you feel like it.
Dragon Fist Guide
The new move can be used by a transformed SSJB Goku when his Super Blue is activated.
SIDE NOTE: If you don’t have SSJB Goku yet, we have a dedicated guide for SSJB Goku’s kit.
Dragon Fist is a high-range move. When using this move, players throw a punch that calls a dragon. The dragon then flies forward and damages anything in its path.
On the training ground, it’s found that the Dragon Fist does 45% damage to the training dummy. It’s not sure so far if the move is blockable, but it’s important to note that it’s relatively easy to evade.
Make the move unavoidable by cornering your enemy. The Dragon Fist move only goes in one direction so try your best to limit their mobility to land that fatal hit.
And that sums up this guide on the Dragon Fist move and the Akira Toriyama statue in Z Battlegrounds.
