Update 1 of Project Mugetsu is just dropped, and it contains a lot of changes from new clans to new game modes and a lot of different other things. Update 1 is a massive update that changes a lot of things in Project Mugetsu. We are going to examine each new thing in the game. However, before that, let’s take a look at general changes.

From now on, the Maximum Level players can achieve is 185, and the new Maximum Mastery is 185.

Other changes are:

  • A new ‘Return to Menu/HUB button’ is added to the game.
  • New types of Buffs, Speed, and HP Regen.
  • Universal HUB for game modes.
  • AFK World’s location changed from Main Menu to HUB.
  • Menu Screen changed to Yhwach.
  • Uryu Clan moved to War Power.
  • Players can now display their clans above their heads.
  • There are 4 New Karakura Town Quests.

  • Wandenreich is now has Bambietta and Askin bosses.

New Race

There is a new Race called Quincy that players can obtain by following a few steps. To get the Quincy Race, you should follow the steps below:

  1. Talk to Fresh at the hospital.
  2. Finish the quest he gives you.
  3. Go back to the hospital and talk to Douda and finish his quest as well.
  4. Find Tyrone in Hueco and bring him a Hollow Mask.
  5. Go to Yhwach and get his blood.
  6. Use the blood to become a Quincy.

Once you complete these steps, you will have an 80% chance to become a Quincy Race. By becoming a Quincy, you will have:

  • Less HP than Soul Reapers, but more Reiatsu.
  • Ability to switch between the bow and the sword.
  • 6 new different bow moves.
  • 13 skills and passives.
  • 6 unique outfits.
  • Can teleport to Wanden by using the shadow gate.

Vollstanding

To get the Vollstanding, you must:

  1. Go behind the hospital and find Douda.
  2. Kill 35 Shinigami players with Shikai.
  3. Use the Medallion to go to the Quincy Obby.
  4. Beat the Obby by giving the right answers.
  5. Fight and get your Vollstanding.

Bankai

With the new update, every Zanpakuto now possesses bankai. To get it, you should have 75 Meditation Level (50 with Urahara). After you have it, you should find the right sword in Inner World and then kill Zanpakuto with that sword.

If you use the wrong sword, you will not be successful.

PVP Game Modes

There are new game modes you can play and obtain game mode currency to purchase rerolls, spins, meditation exp, levels, or potions.

Let’s take a look at each new game mode.

  • Hogyoku’s Conquest: It is a mode where you are trying to break the other team’s crystal while trying to protect your own.
  • Capture The Flag: The objective is basically capturing the other team’s flag and bringing it to your base.
  • King of the Hill: Players try to collect the letters A, B, and C. first one to finish wins the round.

Raid

The Raid mode is one of the new modes in the game. It is a Wave Based PVE game mode. Players can play this mode with up to 5 players. The game gets more difficult with each wave and new bosses spawn every 5 waves. The number of waves reached determines the rewards.

Ranked Modes

You can play the new game modes in the Ranked Mode. If you manage to win against other players, you will move your way up to the leaderboard in no time. The Ranked Mode can be played as 1v1, 2v2, or 3v3.

As you gain wins and progress in the Ranks, you are going to get exclusive titles that you can show off on your character. The higher the rank is the more specific your title will be, so you should work hard if you want to get the coolest title in the game.

The top 4-10 players get ‘personalized‘ titles based on their Race.

Arrancars

Arrancar Soul Reapers can now use the July 4th gauntlet with resurrection.

The buffs it gives are listed down below:

  • Vastocar HP scaling increased.
  • Vastocar Hierro increased by 500.
  • Resurrection duration increased.
  • Vasto Lorde damage increased.

New Drops

There are new exclusive drops that you can obtain from game modes.

  • July 4th Gauntlets (Legendary): 1.5 Damage (limited to Arrancar).
  • Alucard’s Glasses (Rare) Gives 1.5x regen, 40 health, 25 Reiatsu.
  • Black Headband (Common): Gives 10 health.
  • Rukia’s Headscarf (Rare): Gives 60 Reiatsu, 0.8 damage, 20 health.
  • Grey Headband (Common): Gives 10 Reiatsu.
  • Sunglasses (Common): Gives 10 health.
  • Oni Beads (Rare): 15% speed, 1.2 damage, 15 health.
  • Purple Glasses (Uncommon): Gives 40 Reiatsu.
  • Gray Wristbands (Uncommon): 1 damage, 5% speed.
  • Orochimaru’s Obi (Uncommon): 1.2x Regen.
  • Visor Glasses (Uncommon): Gives 45 HP and 10 Reiatsu.
  • Rukia Chan (Legendary): Gives 2.5x Regen, 80 Health, 1 Damage.
  • Sasukes’s Obi (Uncommon): 0.8 Damage, 20 Reiatsu.
  • Big Gourd (Rare): 0.7 Damage, 100 Reiatsu, 20 HP.
  • Black Visors (Uncommon): 45 HP, 10 Reiatsu.
  • Barragan’s Fit (Legendary): 100 health, 2 damage, 30 Reiatsu.

A couple of new clans were added to the game for players to join. All of these Clans are very good and powerful.
